Hi! My name is Melissa Benzel. I grew up in Peru and moved to the US when I was young. I consider both my "home" and love the cultural diversity I have been able to experience. I speak fluent Spanish. Hablo Espanol con fluidez. I'm a single mom to four wonderful (most of the time) teens. I love red wine (did you read that I have four kids?) and coffee!
Birth Stories are the most incredible sessions I can be blessed to be a part of! It's the most important day in your life when you become a parent. Thank you for trusting me and giving my work purpose. Really! I feel documenting your birth stories, in a beautiful way, are what make me feel amazing about the job that's chosen me.
Laying down in bed, or rocking baby to sleep after nursing, just a few minutes of skin to skin bonding that include some breastfeeding images, because as we know, breastfeeding is much more than just that. This moment in life, whether it lasts 1 day or 4+ yrs, is the closest you will ever be to your little one, aside from pregnancy.
