She received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State College, and she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. After graduation in 2006, Dr. Stanton and her family moved to Norfolk, Nebraska where she began practicing. She joined Dental Wellness Center, PC in 2008 and later purchased the practice in 2019.
