Services
Ishii Motor Industries Auto Repair of Bellevue was established in in 2010 to provide high quality auto repair service and maintenance. Our facility is a 5000 square foot open warehouse shop allowing us to perform many different types of operations. The Service Department is outfitted with high end tools and diagnostic equipment.
Our technicians are formally trained and ASE Certified Master Automobile technicians. Ishii Motor Industries Auto Repair of Bellevue is recognized by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as a Blue Seal Shop. We are extremely proud to be the only Blue Seal recognized shop offering auto repair services in Bellevue, WA!

Ishii and his team kept my older Prius running smoothly for years. Kim was always helpful and knowledgable when scheduling. I appreciated they would do a thorough inspection each time, giving me a heads up on what would be needed in the near future. I kept my Prius for 14 years, 167k miles and never had any unexpected breakdowns.

I have an AE86 that needed a LOT of work, I had the engine swapped out at a different shop and nothing was working. When I brought my Corolla in to see if they could help me out I was expecting to them to just get it back on the road but not only did they get it running for the first time but they did a whole bumper to bumper inspection. They found things that I planned on eventually addressing but then also found things I had completely missed. Summary:
Steve replaced the A/C compressor of my Honda Civic and forgot to put a cable back on the alternator. The day after, when I drove back from a grocery store in downtown Bellevue, the battery started running out and then my car completely stopped right in the middle of a street. I called the shop immediately and reached Steve. He didn’t want to come at first but eventually did because I was close enough to his home. Steve fixed it, acknowledged his fault (that’s how I came to know about the issue). He promised a discount but I never heard back from him or the shop.

If you have a Japanese car, especially a classic car like an MR2 or Gen 1 Supra, you can't find a better shop than Ishii. Cameron and Sherman and Steve are true fans of JDM and will know things about your car that a typical ASE-certified mechanic simply won't know.
The folks at Ishii have done a fantastic job taken my smoking, dies-at-stoplights, leaky, electrically flaky 1985 MR2 into a reliable runner and driver. They've been entirely flexible with my schedule and clear about expectations and pricing. Highly recommended!

Kim and all the techs here are top notch. We had Ishii handle a turn-key engine swap job on a '93 Del Sol, securing a suitable transplant from an importer and handling the swap. The first engine failed, as will sometimes happen with a secondhand engine of this age. Even though we were slightly out of the importer's warranty period, Ishii really went to bat for us, paying to tow the vehicle back all the way from Yakima, getting another engine from the importer, and doing the second swap, all at zero cost to us. They even covered rental car expenses. Talk about standing by your work

I can affirm all the other 5 star reviews. This place is the real deal, professional, competent, and plain english communication. They handles my 2011 Toyota Sienna, which had several issues. I'm a bit new to the Seattle area, but now know Ishii is the go-to place for your automotive needs - avoid the snarky dealers, and take your business here, you will not regret that decision.

All around beyond impressed with Ishii Motors. They were recommended to me by another shop who did not specialise in Lexus - took my car in for a 2nd opinion after a very shocking 4 page list of things wrong with my car from the Lexus dealership. I knew something was wrong with that inspection and I was right. Ishii Motors validated my suspicions and provided exceptional customer service. Very timely, excellent communication/response and very knowledgeable. Kim rocked too!

I normally have my Volvo serviced in the Volvo dealer shop. This time after inspection I was recommended quite a few maintenance items and the total cost was pretty high by Volvo. My friend recommended me to try Ishii to get a second opinion. Ishii's estimation was much lower. They also said my brakes are still fine and did not need service yet as recommended by Volvo. All these saved me big $$$.
I cannot help to add something more. Prior to getting my car service in Ishii, I had oil and filter change done in Volvo in an attempt to fix the oil leak issue found in Volvo's inspection

Ok, except for the bit where my car smelled like cigarette smoke when I picked it up.
I'm not a car guy and can't tell if they ripped me off the repairs or not, so I'll assume they didn't. Either way, the car reeked of cigarette smoke when I got it back. I didn't notice anything weird about this place when I dropped the car off, but when I went to pick it up the lounge smelled like cigarette smoke and so did my car. Maybe I just had bad luck and hit a shift where they smoke at work, but whatever the reason, my car smells like cigarettes!

Hello, I highly recommend this shop because of Kim's stellar customer service. She did such an excellent job that she stands out above the crowd. I took my vehicle to two different repair shops prior to arriving here. Although they were highly rated and can stand on their own, they didn't produce the concrete solutions that I needed.

Wow. i finally got around to dropping off the AE86 to the fellas. I like to have Cameron work on it because he also owns an 86 (what a sucker!) as well and he knows a lot of ins and outs of these huge money pits. these guys don't advertise it but they really really know 86s and toyotas in general because a couple of them were toyota techs originally. that's not to say they're not good with other makes, though. i've seen what they did to a customer's GT-R, a couple LanEvos, numerous WRXs, and even my sister's little volvo daily driver.
