If your spouse, ex-spouse or ex-significant other is not allowing you to see your child, how you proceed will depend on whether or not there is a court order. If there is a court ordered visitation schedule, then you can ask for a Show Cause to compel visitation. You also can motion the Court for a change in custody or visitation based on the denied visitation.

If there is no court ordered visitation, then you need to contact your local intake officer and file a petition for custody and visitation. The paperwork needed to complete a divorce will depend on the type of divorce you are seeking, whether there are children involved and whether or not the divorce is contested.
