A native of Orlando, FL, and an avid sports fan, Dr. Kwak played Division III basketball at Emory University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2005.
He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2009 and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with NYU Langone Dental-a voluntary postdoctoral residency to provide dental care for underserved populations-at the Kokua Kalihi Valley in Honolulu, HI in 2010.

A dental cleaning is the removal of plaque, tartar, and staining to prevent gum disease and decay on the teeth. Sometimes your child will need a cleaning more often than every six months, but your family and Dr. Kwak can come up with a customized plan to help your child's specific needs. We always use the best materials for our patients.
It can be so unsettling to see our children in discomfort and feel that there is not much we can do to help them. Dr. Kwak will always try to be available to aid in relief from discomfort for our patients. A. As always, our operating protocols go above and beyond what the state & federal agencies mandate. Below are a few necessary changes we have implemented until we make it to the other side. There are many more measures we are taking-such as installing an air purifier with HEPA filter in each room and to put up sneeze guards-to protect every person that comes to our office!

As a parent that has panic attacks and cries at the dentist at almost 30 years old, it was a ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS trying to find my daughter a dentist that I was comfortable enough with having my daughter go to. A good amount of women from a Facebook mom group I’m in had suggest this office to me. The biggest thing that stood out was the therapy dog, so I said “okay… let’s try it. As a busy working mom, I really appreciated the reminders via text.
The intake staff was friendly, masked and efficient. They did temp checks on everyone!
We were taken back so quickly the girls didn't get to watch as much Encanto as they wanted in the waiting area.
The staff had ear pieces and did not have to stop what she was doing or leave the room but could radio a coworker for an extra piece of equipment.
Our 5 year old did great with the help of the staff to take her x-rays and helped her through it!

Our first visit went above our expectations! The entire staff was so kind, attentive and great with our child. They spent time explaining toddler teeth hygiene and answered any questions we had. The office is very clean, well designed with playful colors but it’s also soothing and having a tv in the exam room was great since it kept our little one’s attention for the cleaning. We will definitely be returning!

We have searched for a great dentist and we have finally found the best! The entire team was so happy and helpful. They explained what they were doing to the kids in such a gentle way, even using my daughter's doll to show her first. They let them meet Buddy and they explained everything to me about what they saw in x-rays and what to expect as the kids grow. My kids left feeling happy and excited to take care of their teeth! I left feeling informed and relieved.

I took my 2 year old daughter for her first appointment and she didn’t want to leave! Everyone was so patient with her, spent time explaining each tool that was being used, and allowed her to sit where she felt most comfortable. She is very excited to go back to the dentist and I’m so grateful for that!

Front staff is very polite, the hygienist is very gentle and kind, and the dentist himself gives straight forward answers and honest recommendations. The whole office are kid friendly, kind people who want the best for their patients. Will absolutely continue to use their services and highly recommend for others.

I would like to publicly thank League City Pediatric Dentistry for there outstanding caring customer service from the time I called to make the initial visit, to check in and out and everyone we encountered in between. I took my 11 month old and long story short she had to get an X-ray, which from my past experience at others offices with my oldest has not been easy. She got her x ray and examine not once did she cry or even attempt. The doctor was so great with her you can tell that pediatrics is really his specialty. The doctor was very thorough. Also this clinic is so clean. Thank you again
