Pennington Law Firm
Beyond the physical pain you're dealing with, you likely have emotional stress, as well as lots of unanswered questions. Few families can live for very long without a regular paycheck, or a drop in pay. If you become disabled, you will need the money available through your company's long-term disability benefits, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), or you may need to access your retirement account.

These programs are meant to protect you, but many workers run into problems when they try to get the money they need. That's when people come to the Pennington Law Firm, LLC. He fights for employees' rights throughout Alabama, the Florida Panhandle and the southeastern United States. In our experience, about 70 percent of all first-time Social Security claims are denied, but persistence and legal help usually pays off.
Services
Mr. Pennington has more than 30 years of experience handling all types of disability claims. Unlike many lawyers, Mr. Pennington has a medical background in addition to his legal experience. His experience in handling disability claims coupled with his medical training makes him an effective, persuasive advocate with a high success rate of obtaining benefits for his clients.
John M. Pennington was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1986, after graduating from Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama, that same year. Prior to attending law school, he received a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and was licensed and worked as a Registered Nurse in Alabama, Colorado, and California.
When you're unable to work because of an injury or illness, you may be eligible for financial benefits through your company's long-term disability insurance plan or through the federal Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program. Unfortunately, the process for obtaining these benefits typically involves miles of red tape.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a monthly benefits program administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA). Unlike Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), which is funded through Social Security payroll taxes, SSI is funded through general taxes. As a result, you do not have to have a work history to apply for SSI.
Many people think of Social Security benefits as something workers receive after they retire. That's only part of the story. One type of Social Security, known as Social Security Disability Insurance or SSDI for short, sustains working people who have become disabled by an injury, disease or other medical condition and can no longer work to support themselves.

They really do the work. Just be honest with them keep all of your doctors appointments. And let them know if anything changes. I wish a thousand times I could have found out about Mr.Pennington when I first started my case. But praise God for him and his team. We won. And they called me ASAP with the great news. He represented me for Ssdi and I am telling everyone I know about his law firm and his staff. Wonderful people I didn’t feel like a money case to them but I felt like he really did whatever he could to help.

I contacted Pennington Law Firm about a pending SSI case. From the beginning to the end, my experience was a pleasure, which is not a statement often used as it pertains to legal matters. The staff (especially Caroline) was prompt and professional. And Mr. Pennington was responsive and thorough in his communications. He took time to speak with me directly and provided a free consultation that saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Mr. Pennington's experience in Social Security law speaks for itself. I would highly recommend his services!

Working with Pennington Law Firm was a pleasure. Everyone I spoke with during my case displayed professionalism, patience, knowledge, and we’re always friendly. I felt as though I was a client and not just another case. The legal assistant I worked with was always responsive and helpful. She took the time to clearly explain any questions or issues I had. My attorney always returned my calls and showed professionalism and confidence while still making me feel comfortable and at ease.
I highly recommend Pennington Law Firm should you need their services.

So far I am very satisfied with this Law Firm. My hearing is in October, it was scheduled faster than my previous closed period SSDI claim with another fantastic Atlanta attorney. When I first contacted this firm Mr. Pennington personally took my call and he was very professional, helpful and took the time to gather all the facts.

I so far am not impressed with this law firm. It seems like a very good friend of mine is correct. Pennington is supposed to be helping me get my disability. Judging from what they have told me, and other people have told me.. I believe this law firm to be taking their time in helping me, i wonder are they going to drag this on for another 24 months, just so they can get the maximum amount? You see they receive 1/4 of whatever you are owed, with the maximum being $6,000.00.. I am doing what my Doctors are telling me to do such as: Do only light duty work, however only 5 % of my work is light duty

Mr. Pennington took my phone call personally the very first time I called him. I had previously called multiple attorneys in regards to SSDI. Not one returned my calls. Mr. Pennington won my respect immediately when he took my call. He is very professional and seems genuinely interested in helping you. I will definitely recommend him!
