My Deep Austin massage was totally incredible. My massage therapist went over all of my notes from the intake survey ahead of time to make sure that he understood what was going on with my body. He consistently checked in with me about pressure and comfort, and he was able to explain what I was feeling when he found tension and knots. I was tender to the touch the day after the massage where he had found a lot of issues, but the day after that I felt absolutely amazing. This massage is DEEP, well-advertised! London did an excellent job treating my sore areas! He's very professional and VERY good at what he does. A massage was long overdue and he hit areas that I didn't even know were sore. Austin DEEP is deep muscle therapy. Every staff member is a trained to provide a deep tissue massage. Hayley, Cristina F, Rose, Erik, Katie, Irina, Sarah are all superb. The fact you can pick from a list and get an incredible massage is a testament to the training they receive. Any one of these people would be the best massage therapist at any other spa. Great environment, expert professionally trained staff, great communication, awesome massages. I won’t go anywhere else but Austin DEEP.

I wouldn't call this a relaxing massage but rather a productive massage. Really finding where you have tension and focusing on those areas. My massage therapist was Cristina and she was a great communicator. Constantly asking me how the pressure was and asking me whether she was targeting the right areas based on what I was feeling. They give you a bottle of water and a bag of epsom salt to soak with when you go home which was a nice touch. Admittedly it's a bit pricey but I'd

I cannot recommend enough. Please ask for Justin, he is not only extremely experienced and great at what he does, he is super personable and spends extra time fixing the problem areas so you can just go back out there and mess them up again for the next time. I have a lot of back tension from my workout routine and I am in front of a computer for hours for work, and I feel revived with better functional movement after each visit. Also, deep tissue has a bad stigma for being more painful but Justin does a perfect job of still making it relaxing/enjoyable while working out the tightness.

Booking a session and filling out the waiver online was easy. Loved that I was able to walk right in (greeted by my massage therapist). Great relaxing vibe. Erik was awesome, explained the type of massage, asked questions, and tailored the session for me. I walked out feeling relaxed and with much less tension in my neck and shoulders. I will absolutely be back and would recommend Austin Deep to my family and friends.

I was fortunate enough to book a 60 minute session with London, who took care to tend to my specific needs. He was very professional, enthusiastic and competent, and I could tell he has made the most of his career as a therapist. He was able to get so deep into my areas of tension that I started to lose circulation in my hands, and I consider that a good thing!
I have to imagine that Austindeep only hires the best of the best when it comes to holistic massage therapy. I can't recommend them enough.

Oh my word!!! This place is amazing! I was so sore and stiff from a trip and the massage therapist did wonders for my body. These folks know what they're doing! If you like strong, deep massages, look no further. I was impressed with their Covid protocols. As a bonus, I went home with complementary Epsom salts for a hot bath. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment.

Chassidy is a trigger point wizard!! I came in yesterday after a night of excruciating neck and shoulder pain and asked her to really dig in on those spots because I knew I needed them worked out and OH MAN did she deliver! This is the first massage studio I've been to where I don't need to ask for deeper pressure; I prefer my massages as more of a "hurts so good" type deal and if you're the same this is definitely your place. Not even 24 hours later my constant headaches have let up and my range of motion is out of control. Who needs Tylenol when you can get longer lasting

At Austin Deep I had the best massage that I have ever had and it was my first deep tissue massage as well. I really enjoyed the friendly staff and the overall house/chill vibe of the whole place. A really cool thing that I enjoyed is that my masseuse let me pick the music during my massage which I personally never experienced before. I will be back many times especially when the stress builds up!

Hayley is a wizard. Don't let her youth mislead you - in her hands is deep wisdom and magic. Came here on a Yelp whim and was not disappointed. The spa is cute and zen, smells amazing, has a great selection of teas, and everyone is super friendly. I'm so sad I don't live in Austin or else I'd come here all the time. What's great about the massages here is that they really listen to you and target the areas you want in a very personalized treatment.

The quality of Sarah R's massage was exceptional. I often feel like I have to argue with therapists about applying sufficient pressure. That was not an issue here. From start to finish the entire massage was relaxing and had the desired therapeutic effect. Aside from the massage there were several other things I liked a lot about AustinDeep:
- The 75 minute massage I paid for was actually lasted 75 minutes. Most places seem to shave off 10 minutes.
- The intake form asked about talking during the massage. I really appreciate this since I don't care for conversation during my session.

I visited this studio for my first and last appointment last year. I was having a horrible pain flair and spasms, including in my neck. First of all, their prices ($$$+) are super high and in my experience I've paid half of what they charge and had a much much better experience. The price gouge is likely due to the swank location/area off Lake Austin Blvd. vs. the actual skill of the therapists.
I have had so many massages in the last few years (at least every month if not bi-weekly) and this was one of the worst experiences to date. Here's what my issues with my service:

I've been coming to Austin Deep for the last 6 months or so, and I don't have a single negative thing to say.
I had been twice before I decided to see the Bryan that everyone raves about... and I finally understood why. He's practically a magician and was able to work tension out of my neck and shoulders that others had struggled with.
They have the most kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable staff I've come across in a massage studio, and I don't see myself going anywhere else!

I came here during my bachelor party. I love deep tissue massages, my friends were being nice to got me one. I showed up in a Batman costume - it was Halloween weekend - and they were super cool when I walked in with it on. The front desk people laughed and went with it. Austin Deep is clean and what I like is their shelves actually spell Austin Deep!
