Services
I am the owner of and a lead photographer at Michael Rhodes Photography. I have been a professional photographer for years and STILL love my work: capturing images at my photo studio in Strongsville, wedding photography, engagement sessions, senior pics, headshots, or tintypes. Interesting facts: I am one of about 200 photographers nationwide who take tintypes and I am one of only a dozen photographers who has a traveling dark room.
Tintype images are handmade using the same equipment, chemicals, and process that were used in the mid- to late-1800s. The wetplate collodion process was invented in 1851. Tintypes are truly one of a kind. Perfect for any occasion, Mike is thrilled to offer this historic process in the studio in Strongsville or offsite using his traveling darkroom.
We are local, experienced, professional wedding photographers who are excited to capture your special day!. A signed contract and a $500 non-refundable booking fee are required to secure your event date. We're happy to offer suggestions on what you'll need for optimal event coverage, but you select the services that are important to YOU.

We loved working with Michael and Julie! We were planning from out of state, and from arranging engagement photos to day of the wedding details they adapted to our needs and made sure every special moment was captured. They even came to our rehearsal to see the church and meet our wedding party ahead of time. And of course, we are incredibly happy with the photos from our celebration! They truly caught the best of the best day!
