I usually dread working out but Candice and Brittany make the workout so fun (and hard) that I love it! I really feel myself improving which is so rewarding and important in a fitness program.

My husband and I did the 6 week challenge and we loved it! It was a kick in the butt every time! We did a before and after fitness test, and let me just say, I was really impressed with the after numbers! I have never felt more empowered by kicking/punching anything until I came to Fierce Fitness! I've tried so many fitness classes, I've gone swimming, and running, but I've never been more sweaty as when I've come here.

The Fierce Fitness Kickboxing program was born in 1998 when veteran martial artist, Master Norvin Johnson, set out to create the ultimate conditioning workout for martial artists and kickboxers alike. An internationally ranked Fighter who began teaching at age 19, Johnson quickly garnered popularity from the Portland community, attracting people of all ages and fitness levels who were looking for a new way to workout.
Fierce Fitness is Portland's first family-owned and longest running kickboxing fitness gym. For over 15 years, we have been providing top-notch kickboxing workouts available to everyone at any fitness level, offering safe classes with no previous experience required.

I have been going to Fierce Fitness for four years total. The workouts are AMAZING, they are challenging and fun at the same time. Coach Brittany is always encouraging, and willing to help with the proper form in every exercise. I am recommending Fierce Fitness to all of my friends and family who are looking for a great work out place.

I've been coming to Fierce Fitness for several years and can't imagine not having it in my exercise program. Brittany, Brandon and Candice are the best. I love that I'm greeted with a big welcoming smile every time I arrive. The workout is tough and fun. The crowd is awesome -- encouraging and positive. This is definitely a no judgement zone. Just lots of inspiring energy. I love it!

I came into Fierce about 2 months ago and have loved it so much I kept buying packages. I went 3-4 times a week because it's so fun and kick a---uh kickbutt! I took one of their six week challenges and due to the holiday I had to get my final measurements a few days early but even so I lost 2 inches in my hips, an inch in my belly, an inch in my waist, and 3/4 inch from my upper arm!! Yesssss!

This gym is amazing!! I've been coming to Fierce Fitness for a few months now, and honestly I must say it's really changed my life. I've lost weight, built muscle, and feel so much stronger, healthier and more confident! Brittany is the best instructor and is always so friendly and motivating! She’ll teach you proper techniques and help you achieve your fitness goals! I was an injured runner 5 years ago when I first tried Fierce Fitness. I had no idea what I was doing, but everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. I instantly fell in love with the workouts and the community - and I've been hooked ever since! I cannot say enough about Fierce and instructor Brittany. Since joining last year, Fierce Fitness has made a huge impact in my life. I actually enjoy working out!! I’ve tried so many different fitness classes, been to lots of gyms, and this is by far the most FUN workout ever. The instructors change up each class so no class is ever the same. I enjoy kickboxing so much that I stepped up my game by doing one on one training sessions with Brittany. She is such an amazing teacher who is helping me to become stronger and pushes me beyond what I thought I was physically capable of. I have more confidence and feel totally empowered. Fierce Fitness Kickboxing is the best gym I have been to in a long time. I actually look forward to working out now and can see real differences in my body and mind from these workouts. The environment is so positive and the music is always upbeat. Brittany is a great instructor and is always so supportive. If you haven't been here yet, you definitely need to give this place a try. No doubt you will want to keep coming back.

This is a great gym. I've been going here for years. The HIIT Boxing class is my favorite because of the variety of exercises. It makes a great cross training workout because it hits muscles that otherwise wouldn't get enough attention from my other activities.

I absolutely love this place! After each workout I can feel my body getting stronger. Brittany helps you learn the correct techniques and always encourages you to push harder. I started by going once a week, but now I go three days because I love it that much. I would encourage anyone to go here regardless of fitness level -there is a wide range of skill level at each class and everyone is so supportive. Seriously, you have to try it at least once!

I love Fierce Fitness. It honestly has been life changing for me. I struggle with a lot of mental health issues due to a lot of trauma in my life. Fierce Fitness has been a safe place for me to relieve anxiety, anger, and stress. Not only has it made me physically more strong but also mentally strong. Brittney and Candice are so kind and amazing instructors. These workouts are not easy, but they are so fun! You will not regret trying it out.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! ...for so many reasons. I joined Fierce Fitness about 2 & 1/2 months ago looking for a way to get back into shape. When I came to a free trial day at the new Tigard location, I was greeted by Brittany and Candice’s smiling faces. They were both so friendly, and weren’t pushy at all. This gym is open to all levels of fitness, and they help you with your individual goals. I was also so happy to see how much we actually punch and kick bags (not just air kickboxing). I have been going to Fierce Fitness for over a year now and absolutely love the gym. Candice and Brittany are amazing owners/instructors and are extremely motivating during the class. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. You know that you've found a really great place when you're sick for a few weeks and really missing and looking forward to coming back here. Honestly, I love this studio. I recommend this place to everyone! The positive energy is contagious and I'm definitely addicted. :)

I love these classes, I love the people, I love the instructors. I love fierce fitness. After 2.5 years I am still challenged every time I walk through the door. I am a much happier person when I work out on a regular basis and when I leave this studio I feel like gold. Prices are awesome for twice a week. I have also done personal training with Brittany and it was amazing. It has helped me out so much with my technique and I feel like I get a better workout in the group classes because of it. I highly recommend you try it out. I can't get enough.

Fierce Fitness has changed my life! I have been kickboxing at Fierce Fitness for about a year now and I've never felt so physically and mentally strong. I've also never been healthier or been in better shape. It's really empowering to put on your gloves and hit the crap out of the bag, especially when you need to relieve some stress. Candice and Brittany are both so positive and welcoming regardless of your skill level and make every class fun. These classes are a huge confidence booster and will kick your butt into shape! I LOVE Fierce Fitness and you will to!

This was a good workout overall. Very little direction from the instructor, but I was lucky to have gotten partnered with a cool girl who broke down all the moves. Be careful if u have any injuries, because the teacher doesn't ask and doesn't really check in to correct your form - you have to look out for yourself. Gets the heart rate up though!

I have been a member of Fierce Fitness for 10 years and it's still my first choice and facility, for an awesome workout! The classes help keep my cardio, endurance and strength in great shape, plus for myself I've discovered this workout is a great stress release and definitely contributes positively to my mental health!!
The atmosphere is clean, fun and energetic. The instructors are awesome...they keep you motivated, challenged and are well-trained in many areas of kickboxing! Thanks again Fierce Fitness for providing and excellent workout facility, I plan to stay many more years

I've been going here for only about 2 weeks but I'm already addicted! I've tried many fitness regimes but I am really unmotivated when working by myself. This gym is different. The classes are small, maybe 20 or so people at a time, and you work with a partner to really push each other through to the the end. That helps me really feel accountable. The instructors are intense and motivating, and I love the variety of workouts. This gym isn't cheap, and I think along with the value you get here, it's a lot more motivating to keep at it than my $10 per month membership at

This is THE best fitness studio I have ever been to, and the only one I get excited to go to every time! I signed up for the twice a week kickboxing membership, which was a great fit for my schedule. Perfect for all skill levels - just expect to be exhausted after class!

What I love about the kickboxing classes... both Candice and Brittany are skilled, motivating instructors. I was always greeted warmly when I walked in the door. They take time during classes to explain the moves to first-timers without taking away from the workouts of more skilled individuals. This has been a problem for me before

Words cannot begin to describe how much I love this place, but I can try!

I'll preface this by saying I'm from Southern California and recently moved to Portland for work. I grew up around boxing since I spent some time in Big Bear, where some big name fighters train. A lot of these boxers and trainers were close family friends, so I really appreciate the sport and hard work behind it.

While I lived in LA, I took a few kickboxing classes but everything just felt "off." The classes were either low-impact and felt like a waste of time, or the classes were too big. I had finally

My entire family and I love Fierce Fitness Kickboxing! We try and attend class once or twice a week, and it's really an amazing workout. The staff is helpful and kind and every one of the instructors teaches a great class with their own twist. Totally recommend this if you're looking not only for a kickboxing class, but a solid 1-hour workout in general.

The hardest part of starting a workout routine is actually starting. I saw a video of a workout happening at Fierce Fitness and thought "Oh My, I couldn't do that!" But inside I really really wanted to try it. After talking myself out of it for a little while, I called and made arrangements for my first workout. EEK! It was happening! That was Summer of 2010. After my first workout I was sweaty, my face was red as a tomato but I had the hugest grin from ear to ear. I showed up, I did what I could of the workout! I've been trying this place out for only two weeks and I look and feel AMAZING!!!!!!

I've been on a quest to find a workout routine I want to commit to. I have a serious case of serial monogamy for the work out world. Just call me the John Mayer of gyms. I just can't commit to one. This is making my butt hot, but my wallet light!!!!!!! what to do what to do?

The last two weeks of boot camp classes at Fierce Fitness have really got me thinking I might settle down some day. I really like it here. The staff is VERY nice. The place is VERY clean. There is NO judgement or expectations
