Countryside Consulting provides finance, accounting and bookkeeping services to nonprofit organizations in Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. The firm was founded in 1998 to meet a need for professional nonprofit accounting services. It was true then and still resonates that many small and medium size tax exempt organizations need expert advise and assistance in maintaining their financial information.
Countryside Consulting is committed to building a more socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable local economy. The CCI Team regularly supports local businesses in the community and believes that all segments of the community should participate in maintaining a viable local economy. CCI Staff advocate for the production of local, organic, and fair trade foods and the development of thriving local food sheds.
The CCI Staff includes part-time Bookkeepers, Accountants, Controllers and Chief Financial Officers. These 501(c)3 accountants are on the front line helping their clients meet their tax exempt reporting obligations. They also fill in the gap when temporary staffing is needed for financial positions at nonprofit organizations.

Louise Schorn Smith, CPA, CMA, MBA is the Founder, President and Owner of Countryside Consulting, Inc. Ms. Smith is a knowledgeable business professional with broad experience in financial and organizational management. Her extensive management roles include accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, general management, program planning, and reporting to the Board of Directors.
