In the late 1960s, a young, entrepreneurial college student named Jack Counts, Jr. picked up a camera, took pictures at fraternity parties, had them developed and sold them to fraternity members. Unable to locate a lab that could turn around orders quickly and inexpensively, a makeshift processing lab was fashioned and the trademarked photographs called "Party Pics" were born.

I had a Groupon to come here with my beloved pet. I didn't expect a dissatisfaction with customer service or the Glamour Shots because I loved doing them when I was a kid all the time. I was super pumped to have a professional pet picture for my dog who has been there for me through thick and thin and helped me out after a serious surgery. I called and got two people on the phone that said they would call me back and never did. I left messages for about a month and then gave up because honestly I thought they possibly closed down. What a shame!

I got my package off of Groupon, and was in Texas on a trip. I thought it would be fun to do a shoot for my boyfriend. From the moment i walked in i felt... it was unorganized and cheap. The photographer was maybe 19 years old and the hair/ make up artist literally wore a graduation gown over her clothes and kept asking me how i wanted everything. I felt like she had absolutely no experience in doing makeup or hair. She didn't really have any people skills. Disappointed went to the shoot on a Groupon, had to put a deposit down I didn't get back. Wasn't happy with my orange makeup and took photos feeling uncomfortable. Being my first time not knowing how to pose I got lack of guidance with a girl that was talking gossip to the photographer. I have yet to receive my photo and have emailed and called.

Paid over $300 for my daughters 5th birthday party a fairytale photo shoot. We all Showed up and NO ONE was there and it was during normal operation hours!! All lights off and now no one will answer the phone or return my call! How do you conscientiously not show up for 4 little girls birthday party whom then had to all leave crying!!! I'm sick at the thought that I was scammed!

I had a really great experience here today! I had a Groupon for a boudoir photo shoot. It was $25, that included getting my hair and makeup done, shooting in three different outfits, and one free digital print. Without the Groupon the shoot including hair and makeup is still just $79. I brought my own false lashes because they do charge $15 if they provide the lashes. The photographer was Kaitlyn (maybe Kaylyn?) she was so sweet! The hair and makeup artist was very nice too and did great. Afterwards they went over each picture with me. I ended up choosing a package that was $349; it included 3

This was a horrible experience. We took our girls for the fairy photo shoot and it was awful. You can read all the reviews and they are all the same. We waited forever. The pics turned out cute but they only edited like 3 or 4 and then you have to use your imagination for all the rest of the pictures. They outfit choices were not choices at all. They had one fairy outfit and that was it. They pushed us to buy a big photo to hang in their gallery which like all the other reviews was full of very inappropriate pictures of women in basically no clothing. Wow. Glamour shots is not what it was in the 90s. I think it's time to change the name to "rear view" or something more accurate, because those are the pics my kids kept asking about. I get that they need to advertise, but I feel there should be a warning on their fairytale Groupon ad -- it's a little awkward seeing someone's lingerie-clad badunkadunk right above a picture of a little girl dressed as a fairy.

Had the most amazing experience EVER. The staff were super fun and made me feel so comfortable. JR was so helpful and Ms. Micahs vision was just perfect and pulled off flawlessly. I will take my own band and all of my friends bands there for upcoming photo shoots and music videos. Thank y'all so much. Truly an experience I will never forget.

After calling several times and leaving voicemail that wasn't returned, I went by their storefront to book the appointment. I am the sort of person who has a very hard time getting my professional portraits made, but the team made it easy. Their makeup person did such a great job. And Victoria, the photographer, made me feel comfortable. The studio seemed well managed, everything went smoothly. I came here for a head shot for my job & got the hair & makeup in addition to the photo shoot. All I can say is WOW! All of the staff from the hair & makeup up artist to the photographer made me feel extremely comfortable. The photo turned out great .... I feel like it really looks like me! The process is about 2 hours & I had my photo later on that evening. A big thank you to all of the staff!

The photographer was the best!!! My daughter never cooperates when taking pics but she really took direction well and loved the outfit changes. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the prices are a little steep. It's about double the price of the picture people but glamour shots has a better experience so I guess that's what you're paying for.

The pictures were amazing! Makeup artist was on point. I did a boudoir photo shoot, and everyone was very professional, made me feel comfortable.
They do sell packages at the end so have LOTS of money ready to buy. Or be ready to be firm on your budget, they are gonna try and get you to buy more. Can't really say anything bad about my experience. I guess maybe a bottled water would have been nice at the end of the shoot.

Had a blast! Alexis did my makeup. She listened to my wants, which was a natural look. Elizabeth curled my long hair & it looked so purty! Kayli was my photographer.
We did several poses & I even requested a few of my own which she was fine with. J.R was my presenter. He was not pushy & had a sense of humor. There were no surprises. I left happy 3 hrs later.
I bought 2 more groupon's for my kids!

We got a coupon for a couples shot at Glamour Shots. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The make-up was great, the photo session was fun, and the "choosing our photo" part was great. The woman who check us out and helped us choose our photo(s) (a fellow commuter bicyclist) was extremely competent and helped us get exactly what we wanted. We did not spend much money for our session as we had a coupon but the service was first class even so.

I had an appointment scheduled for today. I arrived and there was a sign was on the door saying that they were closed for "unavoidable circumstances." I received no call or no email to learn my that my appointment had been canceled.
I called to leave a message about rescheduling and now I'm being told it will be another 3 weeks before they reopen, because of remodeling! (Unavoidable circumstances???)
This is terrible costumer service on so many levels.

I got a Groupon for this glamour shots, came with a 10x13 and 2 make overs. Good deal, got it for my teenager and I, fun girls day.
*I call to schedule our shoot and get an appointment for next day, requires a $40 deposit that will be refunded or deducted from additional portrait sheets purchased.
*My daughter and I get there 20 minutes early, and we get asked if we are picking up portraits, so I said no we have an appointment, "oh okay, its for just your daughter"? No its for both of us :/ nervous at this point cause I did book for both of us.
*After a few minutes of the 2 girls talking

The staff was so fun and awesome. Sunshine was very professional and reasonable, Jonathan did amazing make-up and hair-he's amazing. Crystal was very patient in taking the perfect photos. And the genius behind the operation is Matt, he has an artistic edge, Plus there were more people helping with compliments and poses.
I totally recommend this team because they will get you the best picture you have ever taken!!

I needed to get a few photos to start my modeling porfolio so I took the initially cheap route and used the Groupon for Glamour Shots. After reading the reviews I was quite skeptical but decided to do it anyway ( I like to form my own opinion.). I am happy I went ahead and went because I ended up with some really great photos.
