Hoins Construction, founded in 1999 by Bill Hoins, excels in the building of custom homes, historical renovation and project management in the Telluride region. I come from a family of travelers and spent my early years in all corners of the globe. My childhood was split between Tanzania, East Africa and Lake Placid, New York.
After that I spent time in Bridgehampton, New York, Seattle, Washington, and American Samoa. Eventually I returned to New York, and after a brief period in Australia in 1988, I realized that building custom homes was what I wanted to do. That year I began an apprenticeship with one of the finest custom home builders on eastern Long Island.
