After spending nearly 30 years in Phoenix we moved to Ajo in 1991, where we presently own and operate Copperstate Insurance Agencies, Inc. and Ajo Chevron and Food Mart. We have spent many happy hours in Mexico with friends and family. We presently have two small casitas in San Jorge, just east of the Mayan Palace, near Puerto Penasco.
In our 50 years of motoring to Mexico we've encountered more questions than there is space for here. The following are a brief review of the most frequently asked. Mexico has traffic laws very similar to the U.S. The application of their laws is what accounts for the differences, and the reasons for needing Mexican insurance.

Unfortunately, I was in a wreck in July. I processed my paper work and was told by my agent Mitzy, that I would receive a check, but to wait for her call. It’s been months.. However, she could never give me a timeline. She seemed annoyed to even speak with me. It’s November and I had to call corporate in order to even get a different response which is uncalled for and frustrating. I’ve been spending large amounts of money’s to Uber for transportation which could have not been necessary If everything was processed properly. Turns out she didn’t even send my paper work to get processed
