Services
Sustainability, in its basic meaning, encompasses ruggedness and durability, and provides energy and maintenance/operations savings. Sustainability is important, as there are often energy and environmental "features" which add maintenance/operating costs (instead of savings) in order to claim energy savings and environmental benefit.
Our commissioning approach is both comprehensive and innovative. It seeks to streamline the commissioning process most prevalent in the industry so that commissioning might become more attractive to the industry, and therefore more adopted by it. Our experience in commissioning activities has been extensive.
We see projects from initial conceptual efforts through design and construction. Thus, we have an understanding of the phasing, constructability, cost control, and most importantly, the needs of the owner that need to be integrated/developed in these early efforts. We have the experience and judgment to plan beyond the current project, so that an owner's needs for the future are integrated into the project at hand.
Through our Construction Support Services (CSS) we are able to offer a unique value proposition to the Owner and/or Construction Team. Detail matters in constructability. This detail inevitably brings a sense of security by increasing the Team's ability to meet project schedules, budgets, and intended system functionalities.
Our team is well-versed in assisting building owners with investigative and exploratory means to determine MEP-related problems and being able to recommend/execute solutions. We have a strong track record in forensics troubleshooting.
Out of our many troubleshooting commissions, we have assessed and/or designed improvements or replacements of defective MEP systems in over 50 separate facilities where the focus has been indoor environmental quality (spanning from comfort for a productive environment to mitigating microbial growth due to elevated moisture levels in the buildings).As a result of this troubleshooting "forte", owners come to us when they have "a problem".
