RM Garage is a family-owned and operated resto-mod, classic car and speed shop dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship, total attention to detail and 100% customer satisfaction. Founded by Jacksonville Beach resident Joseph Maurer, our classic repair shop cares for client vehicles the same way the clients would if they had the time, automotive experience and opportunity.
Carburetors can be the source of great heartache or joy. If you have an aging, out-of-tune, leaking carburetor, it's nearly impossible to enjoy your classic or hot rod. RM Garage has extensive experience in rebuilding and tuning a wide variety of carburetors, and will quickly cure your carburetor blues.
RM Garage provides classic car consulting and valuation in the Jacksonville area by appointment only in order to ensure reliable, in-depth inspections and accurate reporting. Collectors and enthusiasts, as well as legal and insurance professionals, trust RM Garage to assess all types of classic, antique and high-performance cars.
Cost is dependent on many factors, the biggest being the current condition of your classic car. The nature of classic car restoration is that it is different for each and every car. We recommend starting with an in-person visit to the shop. RM Garage does not offer quotes. All classic cars are unique and all have their own unique attributes.

Hillary and I recently took delivery of our 1967 Mustang coupe from R M garage and we are truly impressed and satisfied with the results of the restoration that was performed. A partial "basket case" was delivered to them and an automotive gem was returned to us. Working with Wayne, Chad, Evan and Steve was very rewarding as everyone was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. A very enjoyable and satisfying experience. Thank you everyone

I'm a mechanical engineer that enjoys wrenching on my 90-00s imports. I had shopped for at least 6mths for a competent shop specializing in domestic classics for my dads original owner 1970 Cutlass S. Most of the big name quality shops are mainly interested in high dollar collector rotisseries and the others don't seem to offer the quality or value especially in Orlando. No one could refer me to a reputable classic shop in Orlando and the typical repair shops are not equipped or knowledgeable of 50 yr old vehicles. I found RM garage (2hr drive) was the right size with the specialized expertise

I absolutely recommend RM Garage for classic car restoration. They performed a complete mechanical overhaul (and a bit of electrical to boot!) of my 68 Mustang Fastback Bullitt. Car is VERY strong now with crate 302/306 and is really fun to drive. Thanks to Wayne, Chad, Joseph and all there for all the time and effort on bringing this car up to speed.

If you love your classic like we all do, then don't bother wasting your time or dollars going anywhere else. This is the premiere shop in Jacksonville and the south east. They do it the right way, the first time. Been going to them for 3.5 years and will never bother looking for another shop again! Joseph and his team will take care of your vehicle like it is their own.

Wayne and the team are fantastic. This team specializes in 60's & 70's muscle cars and took the time to research & tune my 1965 CJ5. The Hurricane F-134 is a rather persnickety engine that requires correct carburation, timing and vacuum to run correctly. R&M were committed to getting it right. Rerouting the vacuum lines, replacing the carburetor, adjusting the timing and reconnecting the choke made all the difference. This litter engine fires on the first crank every time and is producing the tons of torque for which it is known!

I had extensive work done on my 68 GTO including Engine Rebuild, Suspension Replacement and Fuel System Replacement. They keep me in the loop every step of the way. Second, they are skilled. They know what they're doing. My truck has never run better and its truly enjoyable.
