Kiowa Engineering Corporation is a civil engineering consulting and design firm that began operations in 1987. Since its inception, Kiowa has specialized in providing civil engineering services for both public and private clients throughout the state of Colorado. The firm is privately owned and operated with offices in Lakewood and Colorado Springs.
Kiowa Engineering designed improvements to the 28-acre Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The civil site improvements included replacement of two parking lots, enhanced crosswalks, a plaza entrance to one of the buildings to be renovated, upgrading the existing storm sewer system, a bioretention facility to provide water quality treatment, new park paths and a formal creek access along Clear Creek.
The Cottonwood Creek Improvements - Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) project is located along Cottonwood Creek between Interstate 25 bridge and the Vincent Drive bridge in Colorado Springs. Kiowa Engineering prepared the design for restoration of Cottonwood Creek from a severely degraded urban stream to a more highly functioning waterway with wetland and riparian habitat.
Kiowa Engineering has been in business for over 30 years and has an excellent reputation with our clients and the engineering community. We complete a range of civil engineering design services and encourage employees to develop their area of expertise according to their strengths and interests. Kiowa maintains a professional, yet casual atmosphere not found in typical corporate culture.
