Dr. Jennifer Marin received her bachelor's degree from New York University in 2005. In 2010, she graduated with her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She completed her general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, receiving training in treating adults and children with complex medical conditions and special needs.

After a terrible experience when I was younger I hadn’t seen a dentist for a long time and had quite a few issues that needed dealing with. I read many reviews and decided to visit Modern Family Dentistry.
Dr. Jessica Marinoff is absolutely wonderful, she has cured my phobia of dentists. I feel completely safe in her very capable hands and I actually enjoy visiting the dentist now.
The office is clean and modern and the staff at the front desk are always helpful. I’ve never had any surprise bills either.
I moved away from Jersey City a few years ago but still return here because Dr. Jessica

I am one of those people that avoids the dentist out of deep anxiety and bad past experiences- but my visit to Modern Family Dentistry was AMAZING.
Nicole is a) the nicest person I’ve ever met and b) SO efficient and helpful! She went over everything so thoroughly and gave me great recommendations on toothbrushes, mouthwash, etc.
And Jessica was also wonderful! I had seen three different dentists about a toothache to no avail, and she fixed it in about 2 min.
I’ll never go anywhere else!

Have been looking for a dentist in JC for awhile. Found Modern Family while looking through reviews, and they had great reviews so made an appt. they did not disappoint!! The staff is polite and nice, the dentist was awesome, and they made me feel comfortable while answering all questions I had. If you’re looking for a dentist in JC look no farther than Modern Family!

I should start off by saying that I hate the dentist. That said, I will follow this practice anywhere. I can speak with authority on Dr. Ari and Dr. Jen because I have been in both of their chairs. They have served me, my husband and my two year old. And I have had cleanings, dental work and cosmetic dentistry done at Modern Family Dentistry.

The staff was friendly & organized, making it easy to complete paperwork ahead of time & minimize my wait time before being seen. My hygienist was accommodating to my jaw pain during the cleaning & both she and Dr Ari were thorough in the their work and explanations. I’ll be returning for sure—and scheduling an appointment for my 4 year old!

Dr. Ali Amrollahie did a tooth extraction for me. I am always scared to go to the dentist - especially for something like an extraction. He was superb. He was friendly, explained everything and did the job without much pain or discomfort. I anted pain medication and he gave me a prescription but he did such a great job that I had hardly any pain at all afterwards so I didn't need to take any medication at all Highly recommended.

A friend recommended this place to me and I really love how clean it is. I have been there twice during Covid and I really appreciate the extra steps they have taken.
They take the time to explain everything to you and allow you to ask questions and you don't feel rushed.
I would give them five stars but the girl in the front is always so rude to me. I think she's just miserable either in life or hates her job. I do love the diversity in that office.

Completely recommend Modern Family Dentistry if you are looking for dental care. Today I went in for a bonding, but Dr. Ari had second thoughts. He told me a gum graft would be better for the long run. I loved how he wasn't afraid to tell me what was best for me, despite me having to go home and schedule another appointment. This is what good healthcare looks like. I always find that dentists are the nicest doctors around and Dr. Ari and his staff our no exception.

I love this place. I came here as my first choice when I moved to Jersey City and I have kept coming back. I have had only routine cleanings done, as well as a custom mouthguard made, but the service is extremely friendly, I feel as though they know what they're doing, their office is clean and modern, and I recommend them to my friends. Keep doing what you're doing!

This was my very first appointment. I had to find a new dentist after mine stopped practicing. I really liked my prior dentist a lot so I wanted to be very cautious about choosing a new dental practice that I was comfortable with. After doing an online search, I found Modern Family Dentistry, and they were able to schedule me just a couple days later on a Saturday with Dr. Parra. Everything about the appointment was excellent - from the ease of getting the appointment, to the staff friendliness, to the extremely thorough dental exam that I received as a new patient.

Amazing dentist! And that's coming from someone who hates the dentist! Scheduling an appointment was very easy and the staff was a pleasure to deal with. I was promptly upon arriving which is a nice change of pace from most doctor's offices. My hygienist was Jessica and she was very nice and gave me a lot of good tips and insight about my teeth. The televisions on the ceiling are a nice touch.
Dr. Jen took the time to ask me a lot of great questions about seemingly unrelated things that actually told her a lot of my gum, tooth and jaw health. She took high resolution photos on my caps

Although, I rolled my eyes back and smirked when Dr. Ari Crystal-Ornelas said he is going to change how people feel and think about Dentistry.
He was RIGHT!!
He changed my cynical skeptical mind after I saw his
- gentle touch
- technical work
- artistic skills
- PAINLESS cleanings
- PAINLESS Procedures
- Latest Technology and Tools (ex: PAINLESS Needle, Digital x-rays...etc)
He saved and rebuilt an entire tooth PAINLESSLY on a complicated case. I am strikingly amazed how the patient didn't even flinch in the chair during the entire process.
