Maintaining oral health includes good home care and regular visits to our office for preventive care, which includes oral examinations and cleanings. Comprehensive examinations of the mouth, teeth, surrounding gum tissues, and supporting bone structures help with early detection and treatment of problematic conditions.
With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Nourhan Mekawy is a compassionate dentist serving patients at Island Smile Dental Group in Levittown, New York. Since establishing Island Smile Dental Group in 2011, Dr. Mekawy brings her expertise and commitment to patient-centered care to improve her patients' oral health goals.
University of California-Berkeley, Bachelor's Degree in Neurobiology, Graduated Summa Cum Laude. Tufts University, Orthodontic Training, Received the Furman Scholarship for Clinical and Academic Excellence. Dr. Fooladi has attained recognition for her amazing trend-setting clinical and management methods at the annual American Association of Orthodontists meeting.
Maria Cainto Del Castillo R.D.H. moved to the US in 2003. She was a licensed dentist in the Philippines. She was fascinated with the fact that everything starts in the mouth. Maria learned from dental school that the mouth is the dirtiest part of the body. Thus saying so, if you maintain a healthy oral environment, overall wellbeing follows.
