In 1989, Michael J. Considine established a general law practice in the historic Lee National Bank Building in downtown Lee, Massachusetts. The practice has since grown to include attorney Shawn P. Leary. Real Estate Paralegal Mary Ann Saunders, who has worked at the firm since its inception, is now accompanied by Administrative Assistant Donna Colbert.
Our office handles all real estate matters. With nearly 25 years' experience in this area, our attorneys represent buyers, sellers and owners in sales, purchases and mortgage financing in both residential and commercial transactions. We also handle a broad range of land use issues including zoning and permitting.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to lenders and borrowers alike while maintaining the highest title examination standards. We are approved title agents for both First American Title Insurance Company and CATIC, and have access to the full resources of our title insurance underwriters.
Located at 49 Main Street in the center of historic downtown Lee, Massachusetts, our office is at street level, fully handicapped-accessible, and with plenty of parking nearby. It is also situated directly on county and inter-state bus routes. The Town of Lee is in central Berkshire County, close to both the Massachusetts Turnpike and the New York State border.
