Services
This Yoga class will develop your child's physical strength and flexibility, while enhancing emotional regulation skills, and emotional intelligence through the practice of mindfulness and yoga. The goals of this class are to increase your child's self-esteem and self-worth, increase awareness of self, promote body positivity, increase concentration and memory, and reduce impulsivity.
I believe in creating a safe place and lasting change. I believe in meeting client's where they are free of judgment and expectations on how fast or slow the change occurs. I strive to create a safe environment for individuals, couples, and families to be heard and find solutions. I operate from my own level of experience, but I am open to new ways of thinking to best fit the individual.
Initial intake session rates vary between $140-$165 and follow up session rates vary between $125-$140 depending on the clinician. However, under special circumstances, rates may be negotiated based on financial need, frequency of sessions and other circumstances. Requests for a reduction in fees will be handled on an individual basis and are only applicable for self-paying clients.
October in Atlanta is PRIDE month, which means rainbows are everywhere! PRIDE specials are in every restaurant and bar, and the week-long Atlanta PRIDE Festival is upon us! This is a time for the LGBT+ community to celebrate and take PRIDE in the progress we've made since the Stonewall Riots of 1968!
Substance abuse is a large epidemic that exists in our communities today. Unfortunately, the LGBTQ+ community is at a higher risk for addiction. This may be the case due to the development of various mental health disorders, which may result from discrimination, rejection, and abuse. Often times, people who have a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) may not realize that they are also dealing with a mental health disorder.

At the end of the day you want to talk about your hardest issues with someone who is attentive and empathetic, you want to feel validated like your problems actually matter to someone besides yourself, and I feel as if I did not receive that here.
The entire time I felt less like a patient of a therapist and more like just a client at a business. Sessions would often start late and end early but the charges were always the same.

Niki Gori is an insightful, creative counselor. Our psychology practice refers clients to "Ms. Niki" on a regular basis; she is wonderful in helping parents maneuver through tough spots and uses a variety of techniques in her therapy with children and teens depending on their areas of difficulty. Can't recommend Summits Edge enough- compassionate, calming, and competent throughout the entire process. I felt completely supported and cared for, whether I was calling in, emailing, discussing billing, waiting in the reception area, in the actual therapy process, or even while ending my time. I only ended my time with SE because I had to move out-of-state and I miss their services greatly, especially working with Daron specifically- she really is a stellar, one-of-a-kind mental health professional. I am currently this office’s headshot photographer. I have met so so many amazing therapists who work here! As soon as you walk in the door it feels like a calm and relaxing place to think about your thoughts. They have sound machines going throughout the building, which makes me feel extremely relaxed while taking photographs! The place is also decorated so nicely with a boho feel which makes you feel right at home and comfortable.
