A native from upstate New York near Albany has been serving the automotive needs since 1975. Jim has been long time certified with ASE as a master Auto and light Truck technician. Also to his credit Master certified Advanced level Diagnostics Certification. His experience includes Chrysler, Plymouth dealership, BF Goodrich, Firestone and Goodyear tire and auto service.

Jim and team saved us. We were in town for a few days with our pontoon boat and had one of the trailer wheels (hub, bearings, brakes, etc) completely break down at the ramp. Jim took it on last minute and got us back on the road within 24 hours so we could safely make it home to central FL without any issues. Jim stayed in touch the entire time and even checked up on us to make sure everything worked out. Thanks again Jim!

This is the first time that I had used this mechanic and I was not disappointed. I needed to have some ac work done. I took my car in and he was fast and professional. Keeping me updated the entire time as to what they were doing and when it would be ready.
It was done the same day I called, but I had asked them to do a couple more checks. So I got the car back first the next morning. Fast and reasonable! Hopefully I won't have more car issues. But if I do. I will be taking it here for sure.

Went in for install of tricky after market high performance complete brake system. Joe knew all of do's and don'ts, He really know's his profession. Jim is a pleasure to work with, Fair and honest with me from the moment I walked in. No tricks or trap's like you get every place elseI Can and will recommend this establishment to all of my friends or anyone else without fear. I went to Sunset Auto because I had a problem with one of my tires. They looked at it right away and we found a huge bubble in it.
The gave me a good price on a new set of tires, because I needed more than one, they gave me a ride home and my car was ready first thing in the morning. (They had to order the tires)
Nice group of guys that work there too.
