Lane won't return calls, texts, or respond to HIS electronic file. He doesn't bill monthly statements or complete his obligations to file paperwork the court ordered him to do in a timely fashion. He attempted to withdrawl but the courts refused due to his laziness in filing proper paperwork. On top of that, he didnt return the unused portion of my retainer, after we agreed I was dissatisfied with his serve. Now, I'm forces to write a grievance to the state of WI to have my retainer returned.

ABSOLUTELY NO INTEGRITY WHATSOEVER! Advised me and my family (hinting without directly saying the words) to commit PERJURY because it was the only way to save muni daughter. ONLY IN IT FOR A PAY CHECK. Does NOT give a damn about the best interest for a client ONLY MONEY! Horrible communication, does NOT return phone calls or submit paper work on time at all.

My husband has been a client with this firm since 2014. I will admit communication has improved tremendously and looks like they are going through a great change. Attorney Fitzgerald and his firm is by far the best attorney my husband could have had by his side for his child custody battle. They are honest with what to expect and there is no false hope. Update 4-5-18, It's clear that there were several problems with my case, but as you can see with the way this company responds, they are clearly not willing to own up to any faults and are not open to resolving client concerns.
