We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Abella-Torrente received her doctorate of dental surgery from Marquette University in 1993. The following year she completed an elective post-graduate General Practice Residency at the Dade County Dental Research Clinic.

I have been going to Dr. Abella Torrente for the past 13 years. I used to live in Miami but am now in Hollywood and drive to Coral Gables just to get my cleanings. It is like catching up with a friend. I have never had any issues with the fillings or crowns that have been done and there is no pressuring of unnecessary procedures. Office is clean, appointments are prompt and Dr Abella and hygienist are great!
