They have very slow response. If you really need $250 least to make a perfect bound book, you can obviously provide better service instead of wasting customer time. I put forward my urgent needs from the very beginning. All they did was put forward unclear layout requests, slow responses, and inexplicable reasons for price increases.

Except that I am an author, I barely have the words to adequately pen this review. I'm going to do my best... bear with me and please don't judge if it's too long. I'm telling you now... its a VERY long review.
So... my team and I decided that we were going to release my 2nd book before the holiday season began. That meant that the book would be written, edited and submitted to Amazon KDP (and other book selling platforms) all before November so that we could have about 150 copies printed for our live book launch on November 20th.

I have worked with Bestype for a few years now and they are the type of vendor that you want to make sure you take with you from company to company. They are so easy to work with, always quick to respond, and the quality of work is unmatched. Being in events, I have a lot of last minute and somewhat quirky needs (from booklets, to posters, to table top stands, to single prints) and they are always able to make great suggestions and deliver excellent work! I had a super-tight turnaround (like 24 hours) on a personal project and these guys not only produced beautiful pieces, but they were enormously helpful in walking me through how to create the proper file (proper dimensions, safe area for bleed, file format, etc.) for me to send to them so they could then print accurately. I can't say enough about how friendly, helpful, and patient they were (especially Luis); and I was blown away by the finished pieces - they looked exactly as I had hoped - text was crisp and sharp; colors popped! I will definitely be using these guys again.

My experience with Bestype is that they produce fantastic quality pieces (large format to small,) with amazing customer service, are super reliable and truly amazing to work with in a rush situation as well! I've worked with Bestype a handful of times and will continue working with them for years to come. Dane is very patient, responsive and the quality of the printing is excellent. I made a book for my mom's 60th birthday, which they printed and bound, and is now her most prized possession. Highly recommend Bestype to all!
