It is Dr. Lorio's lifelong dream to become a dentist and serve the community in which he grew up. He wanted to be a dentist since he was six. Dr. Lorio attended Catholic High School her in Baton Rouge. Next, he attended LSU and was blessed to be accepted to dental school after only three years of college.

Carley: Carley is a Baton Rouge native. She loves working with patients and strives to make every appointment a great experience! In her free time, Carley enjoys sewing, watching old movies, and spending time with her family. DeAnn: DeAnn is from Denham Springs and her favorite part about her job is helping patients feel good about their smile!
Teeth yellowing can occur from drinking coffee, tea or wine, eating certain foods, smoking or just age. Although there are many teeth whitening solutions, they can either be expensive, time consuming or impermanent and need to be repeated several times. Periodontal disease causes pockets or spaces in the gum tissue, allowing bacteria to enter, and affects a large portion of the population. The buildup of plaque causes inflammation to the gums which create these pockets. Normal brushing cannot reach this buildup and overtime the pockets continue to get deeper.
Your first visit to our office will include a thorough exam by the dentist, after which an assessment of your overall dental health will be determined and a preventative treatment plan will be recommended. A full set of x-rays are taken and are crucial for detecting the state of bone loss (if any), development deviations, abscesses, teeth coming in at the wrong position, tumors, and other issues hiding within the teeth and gums.

Left untreated, a damaged tooth will only worsen and may lead to decay, which can cause problems for surrounding teeth as well. I just have to say, I love coming back. To differentiate from other dentists, I've learned more here about my teeth, than at my past dentists. He also recommended services that need to get done, and doesn't push any extra services. I had a dentist once that told me I have a lot of cavities, and that I needed to get a lot of work. Dr. Lorio checked my mouth, and only recommended a portion of what that other doctor said. Point is, if you want to get treated right, you should come here.

Best dentist in Baton Rouge! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and Dr. Lorio is simply amazing! He advises you of all your options but is never pushy. When have you ever left a dentist office with the words, "I can't wait to come back." That was my experience this morning on my visit with Dr. Keith. The office is clean, well equipped, and welcoming. Dr. Keith and his staff set a priority on making visitors feel valued and important, and they achieve that goal extremely well. I felt as though I was someone special while I was there, and he and his staff made every effort to assure that I was comfortable and well attended.
