Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I'm Carrie, and I'm a natural light photographer specializing in newborn, baby, and child photography in the Jacksonville, FL area. I am married to my husband, Greg, and we have two amazing girls, Mary Catherine and Walker, who always keep me on my toes. Along with photography, I also work as a neonatal intensive care nurse.
All newborn sessions take place on location in the comfort of your own home. Sessions typically last 2-3 hours. Ideally, newborn sessions should take place within the baby's first 10 days of life. Most mothers book their sessions ahead of time, usually early in the second trimester to ensure availability.
The ideal time for a newborn photography session is between 5-12 days old. After about 2 weeks of age, it becomes harder for the babies to sleep soundly, which allows me to pose them in unique ways. This range can change if a baby is born early, so we can adjust this time frame according to your newborn's needs.
Carrie gave us some of the most beautiful photos I could have ever asked for of our daughter Charlotte, she has a perfect eye for capturing special moments with her lens. She's very creative and open to any and all ideas you might come up with. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does, my husband and I were in awe watching her work with our newborn.

Carrie met and exceeded my expectations. She captured the squishy little newborn poses as well as the sweet moments with the siblings. She is very personable and great with children. My kids shy away and don't really do well in pictures but she kept them at ease and smiling. She has everything you need for the session whether you like just poses or adding a touch of lifestyle. She really takes time to understand what you are wanting for the end result. I love my pictures. Thank you Carrie!

Carrie is great with babies and made the newborn photo session super easy and convenient because she came to my house! I had the pictures taken when my baby was around 1 week old and I am so thankful that I captured those moments in time. The pictures turned out amazing! Carrie is a very talented photographer.

Can't say enough good things about Carrie! She took both my children's newborn photos and we couldn't be happier. She is incredible handling newborns. Knowing she's also a NICU nurse gave me so much peace of mind. Especially with our son who was born 9 weeks premature. She has adorable props for the photo sessions. Our photos turned out amazing! Highly recommended.

Carrie did our newborn pictures and they turned out amazing! She is so wonderful to work with and comes to your home for the pictures! It was so nice to be home for it, especially when the baby got fussy and wanted to eat during the session. We definitely recommend her! We got so many more images than any other photographer's packages offer, and each one is gorgeous!

Carrie did a wonderful job photographing our little guy! She arrived fully prepared with an assortment of hats, blankets, and props. Our son is named after his great grandfathers, so we had a few sentimental items we wanted to incorporate and Carrie was more than happy to make it happen! We could not be happier with the photos she took and would very highly recommend her to anyone looking for a newborn photographer!
