Julie is the owner/manager and one of the staff members of Beauty Spa Maui. You will find everywhere in the spa applying her 15 years of spa experience and knowledge. Nails, waxing, facials, and massage, plus she creates her own blends of massage butters and oils, along with other spa products. Practicing massage and natural healing most of her life, Julie loves working with the healing arts.
Complimentary aromatherapy, an herbal heating pack for your back, and a warm towel compress for your feet are all provided with each full body massage. A combination of massage modalities customized to meet your needs. Feel your body and mind let go while the therapist takes you on a journey through many styles of massage and relaxation.

Booking is a challenge right now because Julie is in transition between setting up the new location. I was glad I insisted on booking her, and that she reached out through Yelp.
Julie does so many things - hands, nails, lashes, so many different types of massages, etc. If I lived in Maui, she would easily be my one-stop shop for everything.
Massage - Hands down, probably the best massage I've ever had. She targeted my shoulder and neck area because they were my most knot-filled areas and it was amazing. Her massage and pressure points felt like they had purpose instead of me being randomly

Great experience at Beauty Spa Maui! Julie is very friendly, accommodating and her presence is pleasant. Had my hair done, manicure, pedicure and a massage. She does it all! I even messed up my toe and she was nice enough to fix it up. Manicure was exactly what I wanted, and had the matching pedicure that I enjoyed. Massage was amazing! Never had one before, so it was a great experience. Highly recommend going to Julie over the overpriced tourist trap spas in Maui. Support local! You won't regret it.

I just left 15 minutes into what was supposed to be a relaxing deep tissue couples massage. An absolutely awful experience. First of all, when you walk into this place, it's a MESS. It's overwhelming. There is just stuff everywhere! Nowhere for guests to sit and wait for their service. Which makes for an uncomfortable impression right off the bat. Then one of our massage therapists was late to the appointment. We had called and asked to get a 3pm massage and were told they only had 2:30pm available, so we rushed in and then ended up waiting an extra 15-20 minutes on the table for this

I was leaving to head to Vegas in less than a week and needed to get my lashes (eyelash extensions) done as soon as I could. I looked around and everyone was too expensive and had no availability's, or times that would not fit in my schedule. I called in beauty spa Maui to see if they had any openings and they fit me right in their schedule. Classic eyelash extensions are $130, with an additional 10% for kama'aina. I walked in for my appointment with Julie and she was the sweetest. I've had eyelash extensions done by another lady in the past, but she was nothing like Julie. There

I give a five star review to the owner of the salon who did my manicure pedicure. She was friendly, very professional, and did an exceptional job. I mean it when I see that she gave me one of the best mani pedis I've ever received.
My husband and I booked a couples massage before my nail appointment. My masseuse, I forget her name, she was a sweet girl from Texas, she did a good job.
My husband's massage therapist did not do a good job. In fact, when we arrived for our massage appointment, my husband's masseuse had a pissy/grumpy look on her face. Frankly, it was quite awkward

My husband and I booked a couples massage with Julie and Marie earlier this month while on our honeymoon, and they were superb!!! They made us comfortable, asked about trouble spots/spots to avoid, and offered great conversation. Honestly the best massage I have ever received, and both women offered unique experiences for myself and my husband. We even saw Marie while out, and she remembered us! Awesome staff, incredible experience overall. 100% will recommend to any friends who may visit the island.

Best massage I have ever had! My fiance and I were visiting the area and scheduled an appointment after trekking the road to Hana. Once we arrived, I met with Julie. She was super polite and accommodating; and in addition to that, gave the best massage I have ever had...HANDS DOWN! Once finished, I floated out of the room to pay and I told her we'd be back. Sure enough, my fiance and I will be having a destination wedding this November and you better believe, Julie will be my first stop once we arrive on the island!!

This review is LONG overdue, but better late than never!! I have had many services done here over the last couple of years. I LOVE the Aqua room and almost always make some extra time for myself to enjoy this feature. I get my eyelashes done by Julie. She is AMAZING. I recently had them done at a nearby salon because Julie was booked and had a TERRIBLE experience. It made me appreciate Beauty Spa Maui even more!
I've also had Bruce do my hair. And he did a great job.
Before school started this year, I brought my daughter in for a mini-spa day. We did the Aqua Room and she got a pedicure

I had never had my eyelashes done before, but with my wedding coming up, I wanted to give it a try. I got them done before each pre-wedding event; bridal shower, bachelorette party, and then the big day! Julie did them each time and I absolutely LOVED them! She is AMAZING!! She really takes her time and meticulously attaches each lash perfectly. I received so many compliments on them; how natural they looked, long, whispy, perfect! AMAZING!!! This place is heaven on earth! It's like Maui's own mini Grand Wailea!! And locally owned and operated by Julie - who is the sweetest! It has a hot tub, cold plunge, waterfall massagers, saltwater pool, relaxation pool, steam room, yoga room, sauna and more. I feel so refreshed and at peace after an hour at this oasis. Super affordable day or month pass. WAY less than grand wailea prices!! And we can support local. Love it!

My friend and I came in as walk-ins and they were really accommodating. The place was so clean and relaxing. The pool and hot tub after our massages were a fantastic addition to the massages we recieved. Sue and Sue Ann were so awesome, I don't ususally relax well but the massage I recieved from SueAnn was AMAZING. She was firm enough to help release tension but not so hard that it was uncomfortable. It was also my first massage, ever. And now I'm hooked! If I lived in Maui this would be a regular place I would visit. Thank you ladies!

This post is in addition to what we wrote previously regarding appointment issues with this salon. We were made aware of computer problems and understand as to how to prevent these issues from occurring in the future.
As an aside, Julie gives an incredible massage. She has given Mellie several facials as well. Both of them to be outstanding. The salon is always clean leaving us with excellent experiences once we are there! Sara gives very good manicures and pedicures.
Over all, we would recommend Beauty Spa Maui whether you are here for vacation or live on island. Mahalo Michael and Mellie

With all the places to choose from to do your nails, why go here? Well, we came here on a recommendation from a previous guest, and I'm so glad we did!
We did pedicures only on this outing and we all left wanting to come back for more! The staff were really friendly and accommodating, it was a good session of pampering!
They will soon have a mineral bath, water massage, steam room, sauna, and more massage/treatment areas. We will be back to experience those treatments - can't wait!!

What a wonderful experience! My girlfriend and I were looking for a last minute massage before we headed back home. When I called lines were busy but they called back within 5 minutes!
Both ladies who did our massages were so sweet and wonderful! The ambience was perfect and I love the blended oils that they used! We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and smelling like lavender and citrus!
