My Husband and I have lived in the Carlsbad area most of our lives. We love living in such a great town! I also love that my profession allows me to utilize all the great surroundings that Southern California has to offer. I started my photography career almost 10 years ago working with my father Andrew and mother Christine.
An engagement session is a wonderful opportunity to take professional photos together in one of the best times of your life. Engagement photos are taken at a location that is important or that have some meaning to the two of you. This could be the place you got engaged or where you had your first date, or it could be a place you both like to spend time or where you go to enjoy a shared interest.

We were lucky enough to find Meurer Image Photography back in 2012/2013 and have used them to capture our meaningful life moments: our engagement photos, our wedding, and newborn photos of our children. The photos are fabulous and they are wonderful to work with. We definitely recommend them to capture your memories as well.

We just had our engagement session with Melanie. My fiance and I had a blast hanging out with her all day. We also just got a preview of our pictures and oh my god they came out so beautiful. I cant wait until our wedding next October. You definitely found a lifetime client for photos. We are so thankful to Melanie for our amazingly beautiful engagement and wedding photos. The final wedding pics aren't even back yet but we're thrilled with the previews! We found Meurer Image through a preferred vendor list at our wedding venue, The Crossings at Carlsbad. After looking at other preferred vendors' websites/galleries, Meurer Image was by far the best in our opinion. Also, her website was very clear and up front about what they offer, how the days for photography usually run, the pricing, etc. We really liked her vibe and are so happy we got to work with her.

I do not know how to thank Melanie any more for the images she took of our big day! My husband and I were impressed with how she seemed to be everywhere capturing the best moments, sometimes without us even realizing she was there. We were at 4 different locations that day - the hotel, church, a park, and the reception hall - and we were still on time for everything. I initially worried we wouldn't be able to follow our itinerary, but she was quick, even leaving us with some extra time to relax before our reception!

THE BEST! I don't know how Melanie was everywhere day of, but she was. She captured so many of the moments I never wanted to forget, perfectly. She's an exceptional photographer and so easy to work with. Her husband also ran a photo booth for us on our wedding night and everyone was raving about it. On top of it all, Melanie gave us a preview of our pictures within a week and a half of our wedding. I am amazed by their services and cannot recommend them highly enough!

They are THE BEST! I feel bad writing this review almost 2 years after our wedding, but when I was browsing through our photos for our upcoming anniversary, I felt I just HAD to commend on what an amazing job Melanie did! Better late than never I guess, lol.
I got the 10-hour photo coverage for our December wedding, and was kind of anxious as to whether or not I made the right choice since I wasn't able to meet Melanie until the day of the wedding itself. I was on a tight budget, so I did not get an engagement shot to test the waters.

We have not even had our photo shoot yet, but I just had to share about my experience so far with Meurer Image Photography. I booked a family photo shoot for August 11th. We had to cancel at the last minute because our daughter ended up having to find an apartment quickly after the one they were supposed to move into fell through. I called and left a message and Melanie called right back even though they were getting ready for a wedding. She was very gracious and understanding. And to top it off they didn't charge me a fee as long as I agreed to reschedule!!! I am so thankful! We are taking

The Meurers were definitely my BEST vendor for my wedding last September! When I first met Andrew and Chris I was not sure, however after seeing their work and setting up a second meeting it was a easy choice! Out of all the photographers I met with NO ONE had the kind of wedding books that they offered. The wedding and engagement books are TOTALLY worth the money. Your friends and family will be very impressed!

After a very brief wait, we have our wedding photos! They did the most amazing job! The pictures turned our beautifully. We loved the attention to detail -- they truly captured so many moments. It feels like we're celebrating all over again.
