We found Ian early on in our wedding planning journey and were so excited to work with him based on his amazing portfolio. Since we aren’t big planners we appreciated that Ian was willing to let our photo session develop organically on the day of the wedding. The photos turned out absolutely incredible despite the fact that my husband and I were so nervous about being awkward in front of the camera! My husband and I are both graphic designers and architects, and we wanted to work with a photographer who had a real eye for design. Ian (and his assistant DJ) were absolutely incredible. We got married on July 6th in Connecticut, and they both traveled from Philadelphia to our event without an issue. They helped organize the timeline of the morning, scoped out the area for first look locations, and were super flexible and professional throughout the entire day/night. Ian is relaxed which I loved - his style allows for natural photographs without going through the typical poses that some find cheesy. Ian and DJ were patient when family asked for specific photos throughout the reception and made everyone feel comfortable.

My husband and I first met Ian when he photographed our friends' wedding, which we were both in. We got to see first-hand how he interacted with our friends all day, and how he set up his photos in a natural, glamorous way. When Danny proposed, we both knew we HAD to have Ian for our big day. We really couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Ian and Viva Love. He was quick to respond when we had questions, and really walked us through the whole process. He even helped us figure out the day-of timing! Our photos turned out gorgeous, like we knew they would. 10/10 would hire again. :)

I can't believe what good luck we had with finding Viva Love! A friend had referred me to another photographer who referred me to Ian and -I swear- it was meant to be! My husband and I are both usually a little camera shy, but Ian took both our engagement and wedding photos, and working with him was like hanging out with an old friend. Ian is a master at his art. He did a phenomenal job capturing the fine details of our engagement/wedding. With his relaxed style you will get photographs that are natural, not staged or cheesy. They have a timeless eloquence to them we adore.

From the get-go, Ian understood our vibe and aesthetic intuitively. Not only does he have a a great eye (super important, obviously) but also the right kind of energy - a calm, cool, collected manner to keep YOU calm, cool, collected throughout the day and also engaging enough to get the best out of you. The photos are AMAZING - not overly gauzy or tilting towards twee. He brought a lot of great ideas and captured great candid moments that really told a genuine story. Love to love ya, Viva Love!
