Call
However, we will start out by only allowing 2 clients at a time. Please call ahead to be put on the waiting list as usual. If you prefer curbside, please let us know. If you'd like the check-in process to be faster, please fill out this checklist before you arrive. Staff will continue wearing masks.

Masks are not required but encouraged. Once again, our staff is small so you may be on hold when you call. We practice social distancing & wear protective gear. 1. Arrive & park in the BACK. Then call our number to be placed on a waiting list to be seen for the day. For all patients, speed up the process by printing & filling out this checklist.
Services
Since 1946, City Animal Hospital has cared for dogs and cats of all kinds by strengthening their health and well-being. Our veterinarian of 25 years, Dr. Nancy Worland, and our small staff provide affordable services in medicine, surgery, dentistry, and boarding. No need to set appointments for non-surgical procedures as we are a walk-in practice.
Your dog or cat should get their teeth cleaned at least once a year to keep them healthy. Periodontal disease is the most common dental condition to develop in dogs and cats that can cause severe problems and pain in your pet. Besides receding gums & tooth loss, bacteria in the mouth can enter the bloodstream, potentially infecting the heart, liver, and kidneys, which can be potentially life threatening.
Every year, millions of unwanted dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens, are euthanized. Spaying and neutering prevent unwanted litters, help protect against some serious health problems, and may reduce many of the behavioral problems associated with the mating instinct. Early spaying of female dogs and cats can help protect them from some serious health problems later in life such as uterine infections and breast cancer.
It is recommended to buy a crate that will fit the size of your dog as an adult. Many scoopable or clumping cat litters are not environmentally friendly because of toxins. 5. Keep track of what shots are given to your dog or cat, when they were given, and by whom.

If your dog is a puppy and has not had ALL of their vaccines, do not take your puppy to public places including dog parks or walks around the block as this increases its exposure to germs.

Prices were ok but I didn't see them do anything, they just came back and said she was fine. My only complaint is that they wouldn't let me be in the room when they were looking at my baby. I was left alone in a room to worry instead of being able to be there. How do I know for sure, especially since I didn't see anything?

Great place! Affordable, a no frills Docs office. Taken every animal I've ever owned here. Definitely the place to go! No appointments just show up and call from the parking lot.

They were very professional with babygirl.doc got on the floor with her to take blood for surgery.
Then she called me to ask me to come in. She informed me BABY girl had breast cancer all through her chest. Not operational, she would not make it through surgery. Doc was awesome. Thank you for everything..

I used City Animal Hospital for the first time today, and they will have our business from now on! The vet was super knowledgeable, caring and thorough with our pups. We brought in our litter of 6 Pom pups for a wellness check, and she did such a wonderful job, answered all my questions and took her time. I felt respected and valued. We’re new to Oklahoma City, so finding a good vet, that’s also affordable, hasn’t been an easy task. I give them amazing points for value, cost, and the utmost care with my pups! We’ve found our new vet!

I took my husky puppy there because he wasn't feeling good. Found out he had parvo. The hospital was very helpful and took real good care of Audie. The people there were extremely good to both of us and I would highly recommend.

At first I wasn't sure because the animal was really sick but the doctor there she did wonders and he didn't make it of course but she worked with me really well and felt heartfelt my sympathy and my pain for losing my kitty cat and I've always take all my animals there and it cost a little bit but they care and your animals are never alone and if you have to that's the place to go but we pray not thank you Neil's Veterinarian Hospital for all your love and City Animal Hospital
