Simo Massage Therapy
Simo Massage Therapy provides Active Isolated Stretching, sports massage, therapeutic and deep tissue massage in Miami to alleviate headaches, neck and low back pain and athletic injuries. A deep tissue massage aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of the soft tissue in the body. This is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.

Sports massage is designed for highly active people who engage in sports or physical activity. Engaging in sports is unforgiving on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. The ultimate goal of corporate chair massage is to help create a healthy and more peaceful work environment by reducing stress levels at work.

My interest in massage began as an adolescent. After I graduated high school in 1994, I began studying massage therapy. I graduated from Educating Hands School of Massage and became licensed in 1995. I have taken courses to further my education in massage therapy including: neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, and deep tissue therapy among others.
Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening is based on the principles pioneered by Aaron Mattes over 40 years ago. AIS is the most comprehensive stretching system currently in use in the world. Tension, stress, injury, improper posture and repetitive movements over the years can result in damaged soft tissues.
Neuromuscular therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "knots" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar that occur in the belly of the muscle tissue. Knots are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress.
Corporate chair massage can be performed in the open work environment or can be performed in private room such as conference or work room. The massage therapist uses a massage chair in the office. Selection is dependent upon the client's comfort and space available in the environment. Most massage sessions last between 10-15 minutes, but can last longer, and the employee is fully clothed.
Massage is the manipulation of soft tissue effecting a change in the surrounding tissue and structures. If one or more of your muscles becomes too tight, your posture will be altered and your body will deliberately put other muscles out of there normal state of tone to compensate. If this is not corrected, over a period of time, your body will assume the new posture, and you will have a permanent imbalance.
