Accurately identifying the cause of spinal pain or other discomfort almost always requires a thorough consultation and examination. Dr. Kickland uses adjusting techniques that are safe, gentle, and effective methods of care. In addition to your adjustment, in some cases, additional modalities, including electrical muscle stimulation, therapeutic exercises, and spinal traction may be prescribed. The ancient Chinese art of acupuncture is dated back at least four thousand years. Basically, acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles, on the body's surface, in order to influence function of the body.
After passing Iowa boards, he moved to Atlantic, Iowa, and began practicing with Dr. Ken Rebarcak at the former Atlantic Chiropractic Clinic. In 1994 Dr. Kickland purchased the clinic and the name was later changed to Midwest Health Center, P.C. Over the years, Dr. Kickland has expanded the clinic's services to include: Chiropractic care, Acupuncture and Medical care.
