I'd like to invite you to call my office. I welcome all who need this type of therapy and take great satisfaction in improving the well being of others through massage. I'm a licensed massage therapist in Colorado Springs, Colorado certified in Neuromuscular Therapy. I am trained in a number of different massage techniques: Swedish, trigger point release, increasing range of motion, and deep tissue.

I blend these techniques to achieve a compassionate approach which integrates your personal issues with my intuition of the best techniques to alleviate those problems. My goal is to use the benefits of touch and human interaction to transport each person into a state of well being. This approach will shift you toward a happier, healthier, more productive and meaningful life.
Services
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
In order for the massage therapist and the client relationship to work properly, clear communication is necessary. If the client has any medical conditions, recent injuries or surgeries, or regular medications, the massage therapist needs to be informed prior to the massage treatment. Below is a list of conditions that you should make your massage therapist aware of immediately.
Call us if you have other questions or if you are interested in improving your quality of life through massage and other therapy treatments. A Massage Therapist is in one of the fast-growing healthcare professions. For many years, massage therapy was virtually an unknown practice, even considered therapy for spiritual healing.
Massage is defined by Mirriam Webster as: : manipulation of tissues (as by rubbing, kneading, or tapping) with the hand or an instrument for therapeutic purposes. In the West, basic training for massage therapists is in Swedish massage, which combines a variety of techniques such as effleurage (gliding strokes), petrissage (kneading), friction, and tapotement (light percussion).
A typical massage therapy session is between 40 and 90 minutes (15 to 20 minutes for chair massage). Your massage will begin with a brief consultation and review of symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle considerations. During your first exam, I will spend time getting to know you and your health concerns.
