We really enjoy doing what it takes to make your pictures unique. We want to collaborate with you on ideas and details that will help make the images something meaningful and special to you for years. We are skilled and creative both in the studio and on location. Visit us at our spacious natural daylight studio located NE Minneapolis for studio and/or urban sessions.
We hope that one of these sessions will be the perfect fit for your needs. OR at least a good start so you can customize it further with things like a makeup artist or more digital images as needed for your collection. We want to show our LOVE to families that are expecting a baby into their homes so when you book a Standard Maternity Session you can also book a Newborn Session as an add on- option for $150 off!

It is not easy getting a good picture of my two squirmy girls together, but somehow Allison miraculously made my girls look like little angels! Allison is one of the most talented photographers in the TC metro area.
Our Newborn Sessions are designed to give you time to relax and enjoy this special time with your baby and family. That is why we can meet at our Minneapolis studio or your home, wherever you feel most comfortable and relaxed. Let us know if you need help deciding what is the best option for you. Save $150 when you book a Newborn Session and Standard Maternity Session at the same time.
Because they change so much every few months this is an important time to document the transformation your Baby is making. We recommend at least a 6 month session (when they are sitting) and a 1 year session (where babies often like to bring a cake to smash up at our Minneapolis studio) Siblings, pets and other family members are also welcome at your baby's session.

We planned an extended family weekend getaway to Minneapolis. We booked a standard photography session with Sweet Light Studio since all the family was finally together since COVID. Allison was amazing to work with. She took the time to figure out exactly what we wanted out of the photo shoot, what locations would work best and come up with a backup plan if the weather wasn’t going to be nice.
We remained in constant communication as the date of the trip came close. The day of the photo shoot she was on time and ready to work. She was so nice and easy to work with. She got along beautifully

Allison is fantastic to work with. What separates her from the rest is that she has an effortless talent in understanding how to work with families to get the right shot all while making you feel comfortable and nailing it! Love love working with her. We have worked with her on our engagement photos, Christmas photos, wedding photos and infant photos. We have done it all and have been VERY happy every time. Allison is a very talented photographer and is wonderful to work with. She's quick to respond and has a great online system for scheduling sessions. She also always seems to know exactly how to elicit the cutest responses from kiddos and capture those moments in photos. Alli is hands down the best photographer I've ever worked with! I've now done family, kid, extended family and a few headshots with her and she is impeccable. Her eye for catching the light and bringing out the most natural smiles is breathtaking. She has captured some of the most beautiful shots of my girls that I've ever seen. In addition to her photography talents, she has the most unique ways of engaging kids making the whole shoot stress free for the parents and kiddos! We've definitely found the photographer we'll use for all future photos!

Allison at Sweet Light Studio did Senior Pictures for both of my daughters. Highly recommend Sweet Light Studio. Price is very reasonable, quality is excellent and Allison is so friendly and professional and really makes it a fun experience. Pictures turned out fantastic because of the great ideas Allison had for poses and backgrounds. Allison is super easy to work with so made the session very fun and comfortable.
