The Muscle Relaxers is a group of massage therapists providing relaxation through therapeutic massage therapy. The Muscle Relaxers provide health and wellness solutions that promote healing and increase the body's natural ability to resist disease. We are available for Corporate Events, Spa Parties, Health Fairs, and other social gatherings.

Ofelia has dedicated her life to the natural healing arts and has known from an early age that her path in life was to help people. She received a degree in Botany from University of Georgia and continues to learn, collect, and make herbal medicine. Afterwards, in 2005, she enrolled in the NeuroMuscular Therapy program at Rising Spirit Institute.
All styles of massage are important and we will create a custom massage specific to your body. Price changes based on length of time you selected. Please give us at least 24 hrs notice to cancel or a $40 fee may apply. Please be on time for your appointment, as we aim to keep everyone on schedule. Our principal service is massage therapy.
The therapist will ask questions about your condition and will listen to your requests regarding your needs for wellbeing. Please provide any information necessary so that the therapist knows any sensitive or fragile areas of your body. If there are any areas that you do not wish to be treated, just say so.

I had my first massage at Muscle Relaxers today and Jaslyn was fantastic! She was kind, professional and worked with the right amount of pressure - even pushing me a bit further with deeper tissue massage than I would have asked for to help relieve my tension & pain in my shoulders. I've been going to Muscle Relaxers for 2 months now for lymphatic massage following reconstruction surgery. Marcella has been nothing short of a miracle worker! She is knowledgeable, patient, calm, and shares information to help you improve your condition between appointments. Ofelia is very good at letting you know if a cancelation becomes available. The parking is free and the office space is clean and relaxing. I highly recommend!

I had terrible shoulder pain and called to get an appointment. They were very helpful finding a time to work with my packed schedule. The place has a great vibe, the staff is very knowledgeable, and they really set me straight, so to speak. I highly recommend them to anyone whether for something like my scenario or for a more relaxing therapeutic experience.

I honestly do not know what I would have done without the healing hands of Marcela! I saw her three days after my
surgery and I swear she is the reason my swelling was minimal and I have healed as quickly and as well as I have. She explained every touch and provided tips to stay comfortable at home and during the day at work.

My mother’s birthday was tomorrow and I was struggling to find a massage therapist that was open and could book with so little time in advance. Ofelia was amazing! She called me back after I left a voicemail and was able to book my mother for an appointment the very next day. Needless to say, my mother loved her one hour massage and she definitely wants me to bring her back.

Best place in ATL for a true, therapeutic massage. Since going regularly, my headaches and lower back pain have vanished. Also, as an over the hill athlete, I feel like the Thai massage that I get here is helping me stay on the court a few more years. Combing stretching with deep tissue massage is amazing and these guys truly know what they're doing.

Upon arriving, I thought it was weird that there are no signs to point you where the Muscle Relaxers are. Instead, it's her brothers Accupunture practice.
The message was just ok. If you have a lot of knots and a really tense neck/upper shoulders, don't expect to have all knots taken out even after it being communicated.
At one point I wasn't sure if she was going to do any pressure I liked as she was lightly spreading my skin so to speak. I had to ask if she was going to get into something more. She explained she was doing a new technique to help my fascia

My in laws bought a gift certificate for me to visit The Muscle Relaxers. Upon arrival, I could already feel the magic that goes on in this gorgeous place. You are taken out of the city completely and put into a beautiful state of mind just by walking in the door. The massage I received has been so effective for me that it's benefits have ranged from relaxed muscles and no headaches to deeper sleeps and an overall happier self. This is exactly what I needed for the chronic pain in my left leg including knee, hip, and IT band pain. Though the place was a little tricky to find, it is spa like once you get there. Just look for the buckhead acupuncture suite; they share the same office.
I saw Ofelia but hear good reviews on the other therapists too. She focused on exactly the needed sore spots I had and used a variety of techniques including stretching the IT band quite a bit. I felt much better after the session and pain was lessened significantly. She also provided stretches for me to do on a consistent basis.

I bought a series of lymphatic stimulation massages. I originally wanted Ofelia to perform the services due to all the positive reviews on her, but she is on vacation so I scheduled with Savannah (as per the recommendation of Ofelia).

1/5 for Gwen- she might be good at Swedish type massage but not at deep tissue. I felt too much poking not any gliding it felt too choppy . I feel almost same or little more worse than I walked in.
I had 5 things that I asked her t focus on- nope she didn't she's super rough as well.
Once it was clear - even ofelia noticed I wasn't relaxed- she charged me full price and offered discount to the next. Thank you for the gesture but correct would have been charge me only 50% for a service that wasn't satisfactory

Ofelia is literally a goddess by the hands! I was on tour and we had a day off in Atlanta, I called Ofelia (same day) to see if she had an opening and she did! She even worked around my schedule when something came up. I was a little nervous because I'd never had a deep tissue but when I got there she talked to me and made me feel

Ofelia is a miracle worker !! I have had a back spasm around my shoulder blade area for nearly 3 weeks as a result of my scoliosis. I saw that the Ofelia was trained in Neuromuscular therapy (which I had never tried) but I thought I would give it a shot. Normally, when I have a back spasm I go get a deep tissue massage, which helps, but only temporarily. The spasm will usually come back in 2-3 months.

I came here first for acupuncture and was thrilled to find that there was an amazing Massage studio in the same spot. Ofelia is sweet, gentle but strong. She uses multiple types for massage techniques and blends them together to customize what your body needs. Overall, a great experience followed by a great location. My neck has never felt better.

Incredibly informational experience. I felt amazing after the lymphatic massage. Ofelia genuinely cares about all of her clients and made some great recommendations! You can tell that Ofelia loves what she does. I will definitely be back.
The location is also perfect. Free parking in Buckhead is always a plus. The suite where Ofelia is located is very relaxing and her massage room is perfect and cozy!
