I should have known that an eight year old girl who would write stories and perform them for her family would wind up making a living telling stories; I just didn't think it would be through wedding photography. However, after my husband and I saw our wedding photos we were instantly taken back to that day and the emotions we felt and I realized I could join my passion for photography with my passion for storytelling through wedding photography.
Melissa has outdone herself again! My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding pictures. I had to admit we usually do not look natural in pictures but she has some tricks up her sleeve that allowed us to feel comfortable. She managed to show our love through the lens. She allowed us to be ourselves and captured every sweet moment!

I'm a wife, mom, sister, daughter, friend and photographer; and I absolutely LOVE what I do. I am mostly known for being a die hard football fan, Apple Inc. fan-girl and for having seen every episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S at least 5x.

From planning your engagement session to creating the perfect timeline to actually getting ready to look amazing in all your photos, I will be there! Melissa is an exceptionally talented photographer. Since these were maternity photos, she provided that best time in my pregnancy to have these done along with several great options for locations. My husband always gets super awkward when having to get photos done, but after our shoot with Melissa, he would not stop talking about how she's going to be our photographer from here on out because of how comfortable and relaxed she made him feel. Melissa's photos speak for themselves and so does her professionalism. In my opinion, she's one of the top photographers in the Tampa Bay area.

Working with Melissa was great! She helped me decide on a great location and outfit. On the day of the shoot she was very efficient making sure we weren't out in the sun longer than we needed to be. She made us feel comfortable and we had a really fun time doing the shoot. She listened to my concerns and insecurities and took great photos! She also delivered fully edited photos with a great selection but doesn't overwhelm you with hundreds of photos to try and shift through yourself. I honestly can't decide which ones are my favorite, I feel like I look great in all of them! I look forward to sharing

What a FANTASTIC photographer! Melissa is calm, cool and collected. She had already planned on what areas of our site to take pictures. She was very encouraging and funny! She made it easy to feel as comfortable as you can trying to be normal in-front of a camera. I will absolutely suggest her to everyone and use her again for my bridal photos. Thank you Melissa!!

I'd give my experience with Melissa 6 stars if Google would let me. She recently did a photo shoot in Historic Ybor City with my family of 4. I have 2 kids (3 and 6) that don't like to sit still for long. She was patient and really good with the kids. She got the pictures she we were looking for. We absolutely will continue use Melisa for as long as she'll have us.
