I just got off the phone with KC and I'm disappointed to say the least. I've been a business owner for over 15 years and my business has hired three CPAs during that time, KC Caldwell being the latest. His many mistakes within the first few weeks of the 2019 tax season forced us to go back to our previous CPA, whose mistakes now seem minuscule in comparison to that of KC and his staff. 1) They filed 1040s with incomes that were different from what the W2s actually showed, 2) They failed to use all the tax information provided to them such as 1099s, direct deposit account information

KC Caldwell is the most unprofessional and incompetent accountant I've ever work with. He made numerous mistakes on both my personal and business tax returns. I had to continuously follow up to ask about the status on things. He continuously missed deadlines and lied to me. He lost documents that I gave him. He filed my corporate taxes on the wrong form and had to make 2 separate amendments to my personal taxes. He charged us almost $1,000 and then charged an additional $250 to fix the mistakes he made!!!!! After all of this i still received numerous letters from the IRS which cost me $750

In 2013 I relocated to the Fort Lauderdale area and made the mistake of taking a large complicated tax return to a local "tax mill" company(rather large one). I paid a lot of money to them as was assured "all is well". The dreaded IRS -you are being audited letter showed up about two months ago. It did not appear in my best interest and requested large amounts of information. On the reference of a prominent local attorney I met with Mr. Caldwell to begin to unravel this nerve-wracking experience. I now can attest that I made the "right" choice this time. Mr. Caldwell

I am a small tax payer, but in my minimal experience I have found Mr. Caldwell's understanding and knowledge to be equal only to his compassion. I felt the whole world was going to fall around me and his firm help get my family through it. I am now happily in the process of obtaining a clean bill of financial health thanks to Mr. Caldwell's expertise. I have also seen him work with large firms and can vouch for his integrity, knowledge and professionalism. I will gladly return next year when the tax man comes around. A well deserved 0 stars. I have been dealing with problems with the IRS ever since KC got involved in my tax returns. I have been incurring penalties for over a year because KC double filed my Q1 2009 tax return. He also gave the IRS an incorrect address so I wasn't receiving mail regarding these charges. The best part is that he failed to help me resolve any of these issues. I have a new accountant who is honest and hard working. Phew!
