Services
I work in Downtown LA. Each day I take the Train to Los Angeles Union Station and walk 1.44 miles to the office. During the 10 years I have been doing this I have seen a lot, good and bad. The images here represent less than one month of me walking to and from work. My my camera is at hip level (usually) and I take shots of whatever catches my eye.
This series was inspired while volunteering with the Midnight Mission which is in the heart of Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles. I realized the walls we all have with this issue. My goal here is to not only show the pain in the eyes of those living on skid row but also the humanity that lies within which is best illustrated by way of a simple smile.
