Our first visit with a large dog with anxiety issues. The staff were great with him and with me and my daughter. They were professional, kind, informative, and handled multiple needs and issues (shots, ear infection, clipping claws, skin prob, plus) with ease and efficiency. Made our 7-year-old feel comfortable. Very reasonable pricing as well. Love them.

Dr. Morgan is so easy to talk to. The staff is helpful and cheerful. I had used Woodman and decided to try this location due to its proximity to me. If it’s Locke Taylor it’s great wherever that name is assigned.

We recently brought our cat of 17 years to be cremated. The staff was extremely accommodating and understanding.
Both of the girls at the reception desk were so busy and ensured my wife and I were ok.
Absolutely amazing customer service!
Outstanding job team 👍

We had an appointment scheduled for our normal vet, but couldn’t wait. I was recommended this office by a friend, and was very, very pleased by their kind, quick response and their thoroughness. Unfortunately, my cat has bone cancer and diabetes, but I feel very confident in the care they’ve taken, and will be using them in the future to help mitigate his remaining needs, and take reliable care of my other pets from now on.

Took my cats here for 2+ years while I lived in RVA. Super responsive, always able to get them in for sick visits. Also they diagnosed my cat with chronic pancreatitis and put her on a regimen that controlled her symptoms after a prior vet had said she was just eating too quickly.

I have been going to Locke Taylor for 10 years..they are the Best! They take care of animals over making money. What I mean is they don't do unnecessary tests, blood work, scans..etc...unless your pet really needs it. They observed my puppy that I thought was sick, they had him for hours and called to let me know he was fine and I felt so stupid! The Dr. Reassured me it was okay. This place is awesome.

We started going to the new Glen Allen location and super happy there. Last fall we had an emergency with one cat and Dr. Lynch started seeing him at Woodman Rd. While the people are all wonderful at the original location it got to be more challenging for us as this is the most busy office. Because of the pandemic the vets are staying at one location rather than rotating around so we followed Dr. Lynch. She and the staff at the newest office are just great! So compassionate and quick to get our fur babies seen. Three of our cats had to be seen within a week and not only were they scheduled quickly

It never occurred to me to yelp our vet until I saw that a friend had done so. So let me tell you about this practice. This story predates the pandemic.

We inherited my mother in law's kitty boy Merlyn when she went into a nursing home. Merlyn lived with us for several years. As these things happen, over the course of a few days we became aware that he was not well. We called Dr. Taylor's office for treatment. The doctor examined him and did some xrays, and came to us with the bad news. The very bad news. We were stunned. But he as so empathetic, so caring, so gentle with us

This new location is the bees knees. Locke Taylor is POPULAR, so they were in desperate need of expansion. I'm so glad they decided on this location, because it's perfect! We recently took our puppy for a shot update and it was a smooth experience. You park in the lot and call when you arrive. Then, they come out and get your dog, do the exam and shots, and then bring them back to you.

Even though this is all for the safety of everyone, I can't help but think that it may not be best for all pets to go inside without their owners. Our previous dog was very anxious and I think this

Just saw a tech let go of a dog in the parking lot. I understand that could've been accident but it's the response that haunts me. The tech threw up his hands and kind of smiled in defeat and then stood there as the dog took off toward Parham in rush hour traffic. Then---nothing--business usual. I expected to see all hands on deck--all staff rushing to rescue this dog. About 10 minutes later I see two staff members jump into a car to pursue the dog, I imagine, but were delayed again as the one tech went back into the building to grab her purse! Clearly, losing someone's pet

I've been here twice out of recommendation of my boyfriend who's family has been going for years. My first experience was standard as my cat just had a respiratory infection.

My second experience is what has not sat well with me. My cat had an extreme case of constipation. They were great and treated her promptly and kept a watch on her until she had passed everything in her stomach, I am truly appreciative of them for taking such good care of her. However, the Vet I had was incredibly insensitive and honestly came off as a little crazy.

I had met the vet who had treated my cat at

I want to give them a better rating. I had a pleasant experience with my dog. He had to be put down and the staff was so kind. Giving me time and space to be with him. I tried to pay that day, they said they'd bill us. Next thing we know we have a letter from collections. Never a bill, or a call. It's salt on the wound from losing my dog. Never got his ashes either.

Even though this was not an Emergency, it was a very serious visit. It was a truely Great experience! I hate any type of high pressure and there was NO pressure here at all. Entire staff was extremely easy to deal with. We have finally found a WONDERFUL VET.

I am a first time pet owner and my kitten had some ulcers on his mouth, so I was very worried. I had never needed to take him to the vet after I adopted him- but Locke Taylor responded to my email inquiry only hours later and they saw him that same day! They were very kind, upfront with costs, and patient with all my questions. It was quick and affordable (office visit is only $40) I will definitely be going back if I need any more pet care!

This place has the worst front desk service. The staff that works the counter is rude and non-responsive to customer needs. The vet techs are always friendly, but rushed. You get exactly what you ask for - they are not concerned about checking anything on your pet that you don't think to ask about. The price is right and it's nice to have access to each vet room directly from the parking lot. But don't go in or call expecting friendly service. The. Worst.

I have had mixed feelings about this place in the past and I have come to the conclusion after today's visit that it truly matters who you see.

We take our dog and cat to the Woodman Rd. location. Our cat is extremely fear aggressive in vet situations and for the entire 12 years I have had him, he has had to be sedated every single time he has gone to the vet (even just to be examined).

Today, he saw Dr. Lynch and she was just wonderful (this was our first time seeing her). Even though they were busy (they usually are, which I actually take as a good sign!), Dr. Lynch listened to our concerns
