Marshall Godwin founded Palmetto Paving in 1987 after working for years with his father Mack at Godwin Construction. Marshall's son, Shawn Godwin, joined the company in 1994 and has helped the company expand from a paving company to a fully integrated complete site development and construction company.

Palmetto Corp got its start in the paving business, and paving continues to be one of the company's specialties. From repairing a pothole to paving major interstates, our crews are the experts at all things paving. Palmetto Corp has four offices and plants statewide, which allow us to serve a greater geographic area and keep our asphalt prices low. Our corporate paving company headquarters are in Conway and our branch offices are located in Florence, Lugoff, Bishopville and Piedmont. These locations allow us to reach as far west as Greenville, north to Brunswick County, and as far south as Beaufort.

We use state of the art technology and employ highly trained workers to ensure all work is completed quickly and with the highest quality. We own four asphalt plants in South Carolina, which allows us to manufacture our own hot mix asphalt at a lower cost for our customers and serve a greater geographic area. Our laboratories are staffed with the highest trained employees that test the quality of asphalt daily before it leaves our plant.

Good afternoon
I'm a resident at Mountain Brook in Columbia SC. Yesterday, our mailbox was knocked down and upon reviewing our camera it clearly shows one of Palmetto Corp s trucks knocking down and drive away w/o a care in the world. Mins later the same truck passed Infront our street clearly seeing our mailbox down and didn't care to stop and inform us. I've reached the company over FB and by phone (FB provide) and no one has gotten back to me! I'm upset not cuz of the damage done to our property but because the dishonesty of the driver and the lack of follow thru on the company's part. I will
