You hear everything going on with your neighbors. Walls and ceiling to thin. If you plan to live here get a top apartment.

Woodchase is a great apartment community in San Leandro. It's gated, has a pool and is pet-friendly. It's also close to public transportation for a quick, hassle-free trip to San Francisco.

Sam was always nice and professional. But didn't get my deposit back which I really believed I was scammed out of, my carpet was clean and so was my apt, the rent just keeps goin up and up and up for no gud reason, my car was broken into, & they don't pay water, I stayed here almost 3 1/2 years it was clean no bugs or rodents which is a plus for me but the rent rate is deff not worth it....

Short version: Don't move here. The property is poorly managed and maintained, you will pay far more than the apartment is worth, and they will raise your rent a ridiculous amount after a year.
Long version: Buckle up...
My wife and I had to move out of SF to find a larger place to accommodate our soon to be born son. We checked out Woodchase as it was close to my family in the East Bay. They showed us an apartment that was several remodelings further along from what we eventually got and said that our unit was currently occupied and would need time to be remodeled before we could move in.

Our friends live here. If you have any option to settle somewhere else, you should take it. The management here has mistreated them terribly. Stay away if you can.
