After 14 years of portrait photography in the Rockford area I have decided to focus my efforts in school portrait photography. I believe it can be better, much better! My goal is to create a school portrait you'll want to hang on your wall, show off to relatives, or give as a gift. What do you do with your child's school portrait?
If you are like most, you put it in a drawer with all the previous years. I say "Not any more!" I do not use the stand, click, next kid approach that the current companies use. On average, with the large school photography companies, your child spends about 10 to 20 seconds with the photographer - wow! That's just not good enough.

Why do we shoot outside? Shooting outside provides a natural look and typically puts the kids at ease, so we can capture real smiles. Our goal is to produce authentic portraits and give you a professional photography feel and product. We are experienced photographers and we are proud of our work! We strive to give you a school photo you'll want to show off.

I never thought school pictures could turn out so well! Kim has managed to capture both of our daughters personalities each year, in what turn out to be beautiful portraits that we are proud to share with family and friends. She is professional, keeps it fun for the kids, and delivers quality every time! We’ve used a variety of photographers over the years, and she is one of the absolute best!

Love Kim and her team! Kim did our daughters senior photos and she was amazing at capturing her spirit in the photos, not to mention they turned out beautiful! We had planned an outdoor session, but due to weather, we moved into Kims studio and she was great at rolling with the changes!

I have used Kim for family photos for years, and was thrilled when she took over doing school photos at my son’s school. She takes a little extra time to get the kids’ personalities shining through. I even booked Kim to take comparable pictures of my older daughter because daughter’s lifetouch photos looked awful next to my son’s professional shoot. One year we did need to do retakes, but still a head and shoulders above the competition!

Kim loves what she does and it shows in her photos. She did family photos for us a while back (we almost never do them and haven't since), and we loved them. That's saying a lot because we are not photogenic people. I was so excited when Kim started doing photos at my sons' school (where I also teach). Finally! We had a chance for some school photos in which my kids look happy, relaxed and like themselves! My younger son (who HATES having his picture taken) even said, "mom, this is my favorite school picture. I'm so glad you bought these." Because school photos get loaded into our gradebook system

The absolute worse photography place I've ever been to. I've had a few photos taken from the past couple years and I can honestly say that my photos did not come out well at all. You pay a pretty hefty price for a pretty crappy job. Don't even bother going to this place to save a few extra dollars. Would definitely recommend going someplace else. Just recently went to Kane Photography and my photos turned out great. It was a little expensive, but other than that the photos came out amazing. I will now be going there instead.
