Allied Gardens is a close nit community in the heart of San Diego, just a short 20 minutes to the beach. It was founded in 1955 when the land was purchased by local developers, known as the Allied Contractors from the Waring estate. This is a community that children who grew up here are moving back to raise their families.
San Carlos is a neighborhood in central San Diego which borders the neighborhoods of Del Cerro, Tierrasanta, Allied Gardens and the city of La Mesa. Geographically, San Carlos is defined by its proximity to Mission Trails Regional Park and to the reservoir of Lake Murray which allow residents and visitors to explore miles of trails with varying terrain, including the popular Cowles Mountain.
Del Cerro is a centrally located, residential suburb in San Diego sandwiched between La Mesa, Allied Gardens and San Carlos. Located just 20 minutes from Downtown, Del Cerro, "of the hill" in Spanish, was established in the mid 1950's. Views from Del Cerro range north to Mission Trails Regional Park and west out to the Pacific Ocean.
Just 12 miles East of the Pacific Ocean lies the city of La Mesa, known as the "Jewel of the Hills". Originally the land was part Mission San Diego de Alcal and was founded as a community in 1869 and incorporated in 1912. La Mesa encompasses Rolando, Fetcher Hills, The Village, Lake Murray and Mt. Helix.

Jen and Stephanie did an outstanding job in helping us find a home in a highly competitive market. They were always available for a text or call and were prompt in setting up appointments. Always on time, they often came as a team to provide different opinions. They also have a background in finance as well as military experience. They do a great job in educating on the VA loan and crafting offers to make it as attractive as possible. If buying or selling in the market again, I will be sure to utilize them again.

We were referred to LRN through an investment group when I asked for input on the purchase of our first home. The deal was supposed to be pretty straight forward as we occupied the property as renters but we wanted to hire a realtor as a consultant to ensure we did it correctly.
