Dave started Over the Top Roofing in 1999 and merged with Rick Ihnen's construction company in 2007. At that time, Dave took the Vice President role on every day-to-day business transactions, dealing with new customers and clients. While Dave was working in the tool and die trade, he opened Adrianos pizza pickup and delivery in Menomonee Falls.
When Dave was unable to find a reliable contractor to do work on his home, he decided to become the contractor he always wanted to hire and started Over the Top Roofing. Rick merged his construction company with Dave's roofing company in 2007 and is the president of Over the Top Roofing & Construction.

Had them replace two skylights. Did a great job and Ben was an excellent sales rep.
It would have been helpful to understand a little better that we should contact the people that did our roof after the skylight install to see of any roofing work needed to be done due to skylight installation. Also would have been helpful to discuss at the time of placing the order what trim options were - wood trim, paint, etc. We gave them some paint that matched our house exterior - but that was after the windows were delivered (but before installation, thank goodness).

Ben showed up on time for our quote. He explained everything, answered my questions and had samples of different options for gutter guards. We received the quote and immediately knew we wanted to go with Over the Top Roofing and Construction. We based this on the promptness of both Ben and the quote. The material for the gutters and guards was the best we had seen.

This by far has been the best team I have worked with in the last 2 years.
We have done a lot of projects in our house and Over the Top showed up when they said they would, they gave us very fair pricing, they cleaned up really well and had lots of great ideas and input. Our finished project looks great and really finishes the space. I wish we could have found Rick and his team sooner to do all of our projects. It feels good to find a contractor who does what they say they are going to do and does it right the first time!

Ben the Sales representative was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. The crew did a great job with the repairs and new gutter installation. I would of given them 5 stars but they need to improve on their cleanup after removal of the old gutters. I found 10 old gutter brackets and a handful of screws in the lawn, patio, driveway, and flower bed surrounding the house. I was most concerned about the screws which can end up in lawn tractor or car tires. Other than that a i'm overall

We had our 1920's asbestos/concrete roofing replaced with asphalt shingles and our gutters replaced as well. Except for some weather delays, the crews did a great job with the removal, install and cleanup. We even had an old odd sized skylight replaced. And their estimate was very fair as well.
We highly recommend Rick and his team!

Over the Top replaced our 50+year old wood siding on our garage and back porch with SmartSide. They also replaced a garage window. We are SO PLEASED with the result! I thought it was priced very fairly and the crew that worked here were professional and hard workers. I'd definitely call them again! Chris G was GREAT to work with!
