We are an official state-licensed school which means Veterans can use their GI Bill Benefits to earn as much as $1846 per month as a full-time student. Student and Licensed Therapist massage appointments are now available, equipped with the latest and most comfortable massage and/or spa equipment available.

Services
I am glad that you are considering Academy for Massage Therapy Training (AMTT) for your massage therapy education. You will find that no other school offers a higher level of training in massage therapy. Our Unique Approach to Massage - The WorkSmart Method of Massage. This proprietary approach to massage therapy solves many of the would-be physical challenges of providing massage therapy on a full-time basis.
Your Student Service Representative will help you decide on the program which suits you best. You will decide on a tuition payments schedule with some of our programs being only $300 out of pocket. Receive massages in order to practice massage therapy techniques, and feedback with your classmates. Gain confidence and perfect your skills with a wide array of clients which the school brings to you!.
To fully prepare each student to successfully pass the Texas Massage Therapy Exam, enable the student to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. Provide basic, relaxing, wellness-oriented massage for it's physiological and psychological effects, which are applicable to health, beauty, and wellness. Take a client history and evaluate the information to determine appropriateness of massage therapy.
We understand the fact that when you need a massage, you need it now, not two weeks from now!. Therefore, AMTT is very conveniently located in San Antonio and is complete with 16 private treatment rooms, all of which are equipped with the latest and most comfortable massage and/or spa equipment available.
This relaxing experience begins with a soothing therapeutic foot treatment followed by an hour and a half hour wellness massage. Ending with the ultimate therapeutic face treatment. Full body Dead Sea Salt Scrub & Mud Body Masque Treatment, followed by an hour and a half hour wellness massage. Ending with a classic therapeutic face treatment.

I received a two-hour deep tissue/trigger point massage today with a student and it was great. I did not realize I had so many knots and sore spots until he worked them out. My neck had been hurting a lot lately and I did not realize it was from the sore areas. Thank you so much! I'm so glad these services are available.

My massage therapist Jason did an excellent job working out the soreness of my quads and triceps. Super professional and since I was late for my appointment we only had 30 minutes, he definitely utilized them in the best way possible. The only improve here would be the receptionist, she lacks the warm genuine welcoming and seems annoyed any time a customer talks to her.

I have been going here for atleast 5 years and today my massage therapist Rachel was outstanding! She followed everything we talked about, applied the perfect amount of pressure and worked out the soreness in my back! She was very professional and thorough! I rebooked another session with her before she graduates from the academy! I may add on a few services that I have used in the past such as the whirlpool and the Vichy shower! Awesome place! Thank you to all the students and your great work :)

Very professional, and informative of what she was doing and she made sure to not put too much pressure on sensitive muscles. I greatly enjoyed my experience and feel so much more relaxed after. I’ve been going to the Academy for massages for over four years and I was in town after moving away and had to come back for an AMAZING massage! Every student I’ve ever had is so attentive to your needs and you come out so relaxed. 10/10 would always recommend them!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all the different techniques of massage. The student, Shane, was very polite and professional. Alway ensured that modesty was kept. I’ve been coming since 2001 and have never had a bad experience or massage. Plus they offer military discounts!!
