I needed a last minute recommendation for boarding, and although Belle Isle was not able to take any new appointments, Trent was very polite and helped me with a referral, something he didn't have to do. I appreciate it very much and will recommend this hospital to others.

Good evening pet owners and lovers of animals! If you are looking for a wonderful place to take care of your animal look no further! While there are many options of Vets in my area we drive 25 minutes to receive amazing care at Belle Isle. The office staff is always prompt with answering and returning phone calls. They also respond to emails quickly as well. I trust all the Vets there with my pets' lives. We switched to Belle Isle because another practice wanted to perform unnecessary surgery on my dog. Dr. Wolkow went above and beyond to make sure that my sweet Sadie did not need this surgery

I had two geriatric "kids" who needed TLC and I needed advice about their care. They were so gentile, sweet and understanding. I have never had vets who sit on the floor with my pets. This small gesture is huge to calm our little ones and make them feel special. I HIGHLY recommend Belle Isle! All vets and staff are caring and professional. It's obvious they love our pets and want the best for them.

These guys are just so so so good. They really love animals and take great care and pride in their work. My son's dog doesn't like many people (he loves me, by the way) and he only likes maybe 3 more people and one of them is the guy in the back at Bell Isle. He looses his mind when we pull up because Goose knows he's got a friend inside to play with and love him and take care of him. Great people and take good care of our dog. thanks!!!!!!

We switched a vet after two visits. Absolutely frustrating experience going to this clinic with a new puppy. Our puppy got his 2nd and 3rd vaccinations for DHPP there and they won't sign off for this vaccine being complete for a year. They asked for a 4th DHPP vaccination. Our new vet confirmed that three DHPP vaccines are good for a puppy and he does not need a 4th one. But trying to explain this to our puppy's daycare where they see DHPP certificate from Belle Isle Animal Hospital stated as incomplete is a whole different story. What a mess.

I have been taking my small dog, 6 pounds, to Belle Isle to my vet who was formerly with treehouse animal. Was dreading the change but I have been so impressed by the professionalism of the staff upfront as well as the veterinary assistants. It's not a fancy place, but they really do an excellent job. Highly recommended!

I love taking our boxer puppy, Rocky, here and he loves coming here, too. Most dogs dread the vet but not our pup! Everyone here at this office is so nice and friendly, and the doctors are great. Dr. Unger performed his neuter surgery-he did excellent and Dr. Wolkow checked him when we had a mast cell tumor scare. The technicians are all amazing with our fur baby, and he loves seeing them. All the people here give our pup so much attention. Perhaps what I found as completely above and beyond customer service is when Hannah, the technician, received a report from the outside 24 hr emergency vet

I've been going to Belle Isle for years with my service dogs in training. I recently adopted my own dog and decided to stick with Belle Isle because I adore the vets and staff. They're incredibly friendly, helpful, and compassionate. They are always upfront about their pricing and make sure to let me know all my options.

My pup and I both love this hospital. After being diagnosed and treated for an immune disorder here, he still loves going (and we go quite regularly). He thinks he's a rockstar here, and I'm not treated like I'm overly paranoid/crazy (even though I am with him). They run his needed tests at scheduled intervals, with no wait time. When I request add'l checks for my peace of mind, they are accommodating, but clear that these are more for me than a medical necessity. They're thorough, reasonable, and very caring.

We love Dr. Wolkow and Dr. Unger and the entire staff at Belle Isle. They have been taking care of our 2 Cocker Spaniels (who come to work with us) for about 6-7 years now. I've been going here for several years, and the prices are literally outrageous. Then Belle Isle decides to partner up with an online veterinary pharmacy. I was initially pleased because I thought this would make the process of spending a fortune, a bit easier. Not only is the website poorly designed, but when I called to explain why I needed Belle Isle to contact the online pharmacy to change one of my dog's heartworm and flea medications (he wasn't taking the pills, so I needed to switch to a solution to ensure his coverage) - all I kept hearing for 5 minutes was how this wasn

Hate to leave a bad review anywhere, but really disappointed in how my situation was handled. They graciously worked me in last minute on a Saturday morning, however I paid $340 (that's with the new customer discount!) for them to completely drop the ball on a correct diagnosis on my cat and had to rush him to an emergency vet the next morning and pay another $173 for that vet to correctly handle the problem. When I called Monday to point out I paid them $340 for a thorough examination and they had entirely missed the huge swollen gland that ruptured overnight - what did I pay them all that

I wouldn't call myself a dramatic or overly needy dog owner, but it's important for me to have people caring for my boys who understand that these dogs are an extension of my family. With that said I feel like Belle Isle has been very understanding, patient, and honest in their care for my two Frenchie brothers. So far my husband and I have both had a chance to meet Dr. Ungar on separate occasions when our cat and dog needed to be seen, and we both agree that we've found our new Atlanta vet.
During my recent visit, I had a great conversation with one of the vet techs and felt like she understood my concerns and successfully put me at ease. The receptionist was also very sweet and accommodating.

Despite when calling and the receptionist saying they were over booked today (Saturday), I asked if they could still answer a question I had about my cat. She immediately transferred me to a tech and he listened to my concerns and decided that I should bring my cat in today and they would make the time to see him, as long as I didn't mind waiting a little while. I, of course, said that I would wait however long necessary because I was new to the area and didn't know of any other places open on Saturday. This place is a amazing, courteous, and reasonably priced! I brought my 8 week old puppy to them to see what was going on with some sores I found on his back. They explained their recommendations and give me a full price form along with possible next steps (depending on how he reacts to the medications). Again, this place is amazing! Your pet will be in great hands here.
