Services
Veneers are an excellent way to redesign and reshape your entire mouth. Veneers are a very thin ceramic shell that covers your existing tooth structure. In placing these new veneers on your teeth, you are able to fix the look of issues such as staining, cracked teeth, spaces, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth and many other issues.
Traditional braces have been around for many years. They are the standard among patients looking to straighten their smile. Today's contemporary braces are made of exceptionally strong metals as they need to be able to stand the test of time while they are on your teeth. While contemporary braces are metallic colored, there are a number of bands and features that can be utilized to spruce them up.
Periodontal (gum) disease is insidious. It is an infection of the gums that starts out as plaque, an opaque film on the teeth that hardens to form tartar. As tartar accumulates, it harbors bacteria that attack the soft tissue around the gums. This is the early stage of gum disease known as Gingivitis.
Gingivitis is a generative disease that left untreated, will cause significant tooth and gum deterioration. Just the word gingivitis can strike panic in a patient's mind. The reality is that the treatment is simple and performed right in your dentist's office. Plaque and tarter that sits on the teeth provides an environment, which allows bacteria to thrive and multiply.
Loose teeth are uncomfortable, especially when you try to eat food or chew gum. The feeling of the tooth pulling away from the gum is enough to send chills down your spine. It seems like an eternity, waiting for either the tooth to become loose enough to be extracted or strong enough to no longer be a problem.

I’ve been fortunate to find Dr. Kohan and his friendly and professional staff. Very easy to schedule and accommodating when I had to reschedule.
Today was my 3rd visit and each time is just like my first. The doctor is easy going, explains thoroughly, and the staff mirror the doctor.

WE LOVE THEM!!! After going to Dr Mudrik who tried to totally rip us off, Dr Kohan's staff was friendly, caring and professional. The office was clean, bright, and welcoming. Our dental assistant did amazing work on both of us, without charging extra (like Dr Mudrik's office wanted to charge hundreds of dollars to do unnecessary, painful work). Dr Kohan came in after the assistant did the cleaning and chatted for a bit, and we were up and out. No wonder they are booked solid! They're amazing!! Thank you so much! You guys ROCK!! We definitely recommend!!!!

After visited at least 5 dentists in radius 20 miles, finally I found the best dentist in my life.
If you are looking for something fancy, this is not the right place to go. Just go to executive lounge.
However, if you look for a dentist that’s not commercialized, a dentist that’s very honest, a dentist that truly cares about his patients, a dentist that always tries his best to safe whatever left that can be saved, a dentist that’s very gentle and takes time to get the perfection, a dentist that takes pride of what he does, Dr Kohan and his team are the answer.

I started going to Dr. Kohan's office about 9 years ago, at the time when he was still in his old office (on Rand and Arlington Heights). I did not get any recommendations or referrals to him, simply went because this dentist was in my insurance's network. Boy was I happy I ended up with this dentist! He is the best dentist there is, without any exaggeration! For the past 9 years I have never had even one bad dentist appointment. Not only myself now, but all my family of 6 are going to see Dr. Kohan's regularly for cleaning and other dental needs. We had feelings done and crown inserting by him

Have been visiting for 2yrs now. My kids r always excited to come!!! believe it or not.. Jen and Dr Kohan make it possible.. Jen is very friendly and fun to work with. Kids love to chat about everything with her.. She is a good friend and highly skilled nurse. Dr Kohan spends good amount of time explaining what needs to happen and when for any damage in teeth n gums. Strongly recommend this place for all families

Both my wife and I really like the staff at Dr. Kohan's office. We've gone now for a few cleanings and x-rays. I have to say Dr. Kohan makes every cleaning (and some more serious procedures) easy and stress-free. It helps that he is a very fun person to be around-as is his hygienist. He takes time at my appointment to speak with me and explain whats going on in my mouth. I would highly recommend and will continue visiting them. If not just to see that museum of dentistry!
