Our employees maintain numerous professional certifications including, P.E., LEED AP, CPD, CEM (Certified Energy Manager) and belong to industry associations including ASHRAE, ASPE, NFPA, USGBC, IEE, BCA, and the AEE, to name a few.Our turnover rate is very low, when compared to the larger industry.

In reality, much of our engineering design work is invisible to the occupants of the buildings whose systems we have designed. Perhaps without even realizing it, each day, everyone from maintenance crew members to CEOs depend on Optima Engineering's work for their building system's reliability, comfort, and functionality.
Optima uses Autodesk Revit software to design BIM-based projects. We have a dedicated group of engineers and designers who are fluent in the use of Revit and Navisworks (clash detection program), and the coordination and oversight of those types of projects.
To date, we have successfully completed hundreds of fully-coordinated BIM projects including data centers, higher education facilities, K-12 schools, religious facilities and healthcare properties.
