Dr. Nathan van Hofwegen graduated from Hope College with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Upon graduation, he relocated to the University of Iowa, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He was then commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force Dental Corps and proudly served our country for three years, after which he was honorably discharged.

Dr. Vann and his team are absolutely amazing! My son is 6 and prone to cavities, doesn't matter how much we floss and brush. We were sent there by our regular dentist to have cavities filled. Dr. Vann was SO good with my son who was scared to have work done. He's funny and informative all the way through. You can tell he is comfortable with children and that helps get the work done quickly and as painless as possible. The office is so kid friendly, with a play area and tokens for toys when their done, it makes going to the dentist just a little more fun. Dr. Vann called later that evening

Years ago I was referred here with a very anxious four year old. My daughter wouldn't even open her mouth for the previous dentist. However, Dr. Basler and his entire staff are fantastic! Within a visit she was more relaxed and comfortable. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the whole attitude and practices of the office are geared toward making the kids comfortable. Both my kids now go here and we have been patients for six years. Never a bad experience or encounter with anyone on staff.
