Our company was established in 1945 by Joe, Charlie, and Bill Dunigan. We began as a small contractor in the Jackson, MI area. Since then, we have grown into one of the premier water and wastewater contractors in Michigan, Indiana and Northern Ohio. Today, Joe's sons-along with some of their own sons-are still actively involved in the daily operation and management of the business.
For 75 years, we have been building projects, providing underground and other construction services throughout our working territory. The second and third generations of the Dunigan family have narrowed the focus from the broad range of heavy civil construction provided throughout the mid to late 1900's.

Dunigan Bros., Inc is a family-owned-and-operated heavy civil contractor that has served the water and wastewater industry since 1945. With 75 years of experience we have the knowledge, skills, and resources to be able to complete even the most complicated project. We are known for taking on some of the most difficult underground projects and take pride in providing the best projects possible for the project owners.
Dunigan Bros., Inc has completed construction of large, complex underground projects throughout the Midwest. We have extensive experience in handling the most complicated underground projects to meet the owner's needs. Our team is skilled in building large and small diameter systems for water transmission and distribution.

If I could, I'd give them zero stars based on the way they have thoroughly blocked all ingress/egress on Steward Ave. There are holes on one side of the road, which I get, but then they fill the other side of the road and any adjoining street with their equipment. I literally had to drive down the sidewalk to get to where I park.
There has not been any notices of construction or water shut offs, no scheduling of water shut offs. When they are asked why they are blocking every direction, they just say to call the county. I WILL be calling the county as the manner in which the street is so thoroughly
